In the mountain states like Utah,the spring runoff is impressive. You can’t even get in a trout river until June, and everyone is encouraged to use as much as they need because it’s at the top of the banks. In summer, it becomes more realistic with water usage. Remember, these are places that get 15, 16 inches of rainfall per year and most of that is in the winter. East Idaho is more desert than farmland.
