What caused them before cars dude? Why did in the 70's they say we were all going to freeze to death. Because the weather changes. The only thing you know is what the left tells you. Actually, I don’t think the left would be doing the same thing to Trump. Would they be criticizing him? Of course. As I said to you earlier, that comes with the territory and is to be expected.
But the degree of conspiracies floating around is out of control. The government is going to imminent domaine your land for a lithium mine, don’t accept aid from FEMA, the government is stealing all of the aid. It’s out of control and reflects how extensively so much of the country has been radicalized and it’s why so many Republican officials feel compelled to dispel the lies.

I have no doubt Trump will embellish the weak administrative response to the hurricane as Biden or Harris would if Trump were prez. It doesn’t change the fact that there is a mix of optics and reality about the FeMA response that is not good and it will fall on Biden / Harris just like Katrina fell on Bush.

Declaring that FEMA will run out of money before hurricane season is up, knowing that a good chunk of FeMA dough is spent on housing illegals - an obvious losing issue for the admin to begin with. Does FEMA’s perceived weak response actually have anything to do with the illegals? Of course not. Does it matter? No. Because optics do matter in politics. Unforced error.

There's so much info out there it's hard to determine absolute truth, but this is interesting.
People don’t believe Trump because he is an inveterate liar. It what our parents warned us about when we were kids. If you lie all the time, no one will believe you when you tell the truth, which is Trump’s case is rare anyway.
Trump is the one who lied and said that FEMA stole emergency funds to use for migrants, which is not only a lie, it was actually Trump who did that in 2019.

And given the fact that FEMA also funds housing for illegals, this was a hanging curveball that any politician would have knocked out of the park given the political opportunity that is Biden admin’s handling of the storm.
And just like Bush probably caught too much shit for Katrina, Biden will too. But his admin opened thr door with a lot of unforced errors.
You will never convince me that the same game wouldn’t be played if Trump were the incumbent in charge in an election year. We will argue in circles if that’s the point you are making. Difference would be that the media would pile on to the exact same rhetoric Biden / Harris would be using.
