What was the explanation why Perdue did not participate in last nights debate?

Osoff is the one that needs the debates, he lost to Perdue by 90k votes and they have debated twice already I believe
Ossoff debated himself and lost.

Perdue thinks that the (R) next to his name is all he needs, and he may be right, but that is all he's got going for him. He is an awful politician, as corrupt as they come. If he loses to Ossoff, it will be a stunner, but it could certainly happen.
Don't think Purdue wanted to have to answer why his broker told the Justice Dept. that Purdue called him and told the broker to sell his Cardlytics holdings after Purdue received a call from the company's CEO.
Purdue keeps saying he is not involved in his stock trades, but he was in that one based on info his broker provided to the Justice Dept.
