The maddening thing is that the victims of police walkouts / defunding are predominately black. Rich people are not impacted to near the degree as minorities and the poor. I wouldn't say they aren't entertaining. I just don't care for the current state of the game in general. It's a lot of three jacking and not a lot of defense. If you like raining threes, and a lot of folks do, then OK. I do like the faster pace of the modern game but for me, I think the end came when the NBA killed hand-checking above the three point line, took away the physicality of the game and turned it into a perimeter shooting contest. A lot of people like it, it's just not my cup of tea.
I don't even want to get into this era of Super Team building where two or three elite guys decide to play together to win titles. It's anti-competitive and you basically know who the finalists will be before the season begins barring injury.

Honestly my bigger problem is the playoffs are too big. The fact 16 teams make the postseason after an 82 game season and then they're 7 game series all the way through. Too much!
