Day as a sub teacher and now is entitled to a $30k pension. Unions and socialism ain't sustainable.
 
The idiotic state school system is at fault for approving such a thing.

That is absolutely ridiculous. It is so ridiculous that sounds like some underhanded, under the table stuff going on for one side to petition for such a thing and for the other side to agree to it.

After all, it is Illinois, the crap-bed of corruption.

Unions, as a concept, aren't a bad idea. They came about because of necessity and a lot of really bad stuff happened before it ever got to that point. I don't, at all, believe that unions should be obnoxious and self-centered like the stereotype we often see. I've personally met people exactly like that. But I've met, 100-1, union workers who were anything but that.

Again, something smells rotten in a deal like that, where someone works one day and is entitled to any level of benefits, much less a $30K pension.
