How many drives have we let opposing offenses stay on the field with dumb penalties? Always on 3rd down it seems too.

We were down to this slightly above average Bama team 30-7 in the 2nd quarter. We looked lost and unprepared.

Since then Bama has lost to Vandy and if not for a ridiculous penalty , up 7-0 to SC w 6 minutes to go in the 2nd quarter., now 14-0.

You guys can drag me all you want, but so far after 5 games , we played a good 2nd half vs Clemson, a good 2nd half vs Bama , and an Ok game vs Auburn and they suck. Carson Beck is regressing and the numbers show it.

Idk , it looks like losing Dell, Lanning , Muschamp and Monken has been hard to replace. We have guys getting arrested every 2 weeks..

We caught magic for 2 years. Since then we have lost twice to an inferior team, again. I think Kirby has some real soul searching to do after this year . We need a mobile quarterback. We need elite WRs.

My 2 cents and not worth probably even that much. Our team as a whole to this point in the season has looked terribly disjointed. They just don't seem to be playing with any confidence. If you rewatch the games you just see so many uncharacteristic mistakes on offense and defense. In all of the games this season we look like we did in the 2021 SEC Championship game against Bama, we just looked totally lost and we can also remember that we were able to right that ship and come back to win the Championship. My hope is that the team starts to gel as a unit and our QB starts playing with some confidence. If we can do this I think we will have a very good season in front of us, if not I believe our season could be by OUR STANDARD, mediocre at best. I look for our team to eventually gel and improve weekly. I suppose a big dose of patience is what we may need to weather this storm.

Slow starts on offense+sloppy defense+penalties is what killed us against Alabama.

Thus far, I'm not sure this game has shown me that we've overcome these issues. But still penalty of clock left to make me look stupid.

Offense has responded and seems to be what it should look like all year since midway in second quarter. WR look better n QB1.

We are gonna just throw it ALL the time. I'm down with a more run-driven offense, but if we are going to throw with volume, I'd rather throw 40-45 attempts than 25-30. He's finding the rhythm now.

Texas played the same team in Austin two weeks ago and scored 35 points on 522 yards. Gave up 150 yards on the ground. A lot of UT’s yardage was piled on in the fourth.

At halftime in Athens, we have 27 points, 369 yards, and have given up 14 rushing yards. But for a couple busted coverages and a tipped ball pick, it would be 27-0.
