In light of recent scheduling events. I remember Ucla coming to Athens in '83, for some reason, I remember that game being a complete gully washer with rain. I think we were supposed to go to Ucla the following year, we didn't, was it Southern Miss we picked up in their place?

Question is, does anyone remember why the trip to Ucla didn't happen?

Plus, the halftime changes the coaches made were on point. We came out and played like a completely different team in the second half and our offense completely dominated Clemson after halftime. Defense was legit the entire game. It’s wild that we racked up so many yards of Total Offense in the game without scoring any touchdowns in the first half!

Just a completely dominant performance by our defense yesterday. And that was missing 2 of our top 5 DL (Hall, McLeod), our starting Star (Aguero) and playing a plethora of young guys… It would be unfair to ever compare anyone to the 2021 group but this year we have a chance to be very, very good. We are particularly dynamic at LB and in the secondary and I think we are going to EAT all year! GATA!!

On his Instant Reaction podcast, he gives a scathing review (as much as you can for a national guy) of Napier and the Florida program, what they did/didn't do in the offeason compared to Miami and other teams and how far below they are to other SEC teams, especially our Dawgs. He is not happy about how far his Gators have fallen and this one is personal. For the record, he always praises Kirby and the Dawgs when I listen.
