Pyburn held Slingblade and Florida ransom for $ and playing time and hes now at LSU

this is the crap that people are getting tired of. There's threads everywhere on this, fans are extremely pissed at the way this whole thing is going. I dont feel sorry for FL, but this is becoming the norm, nobody gives a crap about the team they are playing for, the heritage, history the school etc.

I do appreciate this years team for how they bought in and kept fighting, I hope we win the NC just to be able to showcase a team that seemed to care about the G on their helmet and their coaches and teammates.

Dawgs in the Pros Top Dawgs in the NFL include Wyatt’s spin and sack, Nolan Smith is everywhere, and Cook is on fire.

Looks like of the eight guys mentioned in the piece for their NFL performances yesterday, all eight of them were members of the 2021 national championship squad. An all-timer.

UPDATE UGA puts 5 on AP All-America team.

Georgia football had five team members included on the Associated Press (AP) All-America Team, according to an announcement Monday.
Junior OG Dylan Fairchild, junior S Malaki Starks and junior P Brett Thorson were named to the Second Team while senior OG Tate Ratledge and junior LB Jalon Walker were part of the Third Team.

I will take the Stetson Bennetts of the world all day that wanna be Georgia Bulldogs & want to represent our state. This doesn’t feel like college….

Anymore. It’s about some booster that can outbid another booster for a kid to play fb. Think about Tra Scott and the time he has invested in the kid for years and loses out because some rich booster comes and gives Terry all this money. Easy to see why Saban left why do it anymore when’s it’s about the money to these kids now. Makes me appreciate Kirby more and the way he approaches our program with his philosophy.

Well looky here...

One thing I love about our bracket

None of the players on the teams in our half of the bracket have played us except for maybe a handful from ND. So those players and teams have been successful and are in the top 12-15 teams in the country and think the difference between them and us is minimal. Just like TCU and Michigan a couple of years ago. It's not their fault and they believe in their talent and team. It's just not possible to fully understand what makes us different until you see the size, speed and strength on the field. On the other side of the bracket, half the teams have played us THIS year so they know what they are up against. And OR will understand due to playing them a couple of years ago and Lanning being on our staff. And, of course, OSU's staff knows all too well.

That doesn't mean we can't lose to Boise or SMU. But our track record with playing non-SEC teams in key games (not homecoming games against smaller schools) is pretty good and it's common to see the bewilderment on their faces when they find themselves down three scores at halftime.

In short, it's an advantage for us to not have to face any team that is familiar with us until the Natty.
