Golf Digest: Most passionate fan base on Tour...?

Anonymous PGA Tour Pro:

"Them Georgia boys are crazy. We like to joke that their main goal is not to make the Tour Championship, but to have a good enough year where they can take the fall off to go to as many Bulldog games as possible. Hell, in his first Team USA appearance in 2017, Kevin Kisner asked Steve Stricker to sit out one of the Presidents Cup sessions to watch the Georgia game. Kisner got his wish.

My only hot take is Alabama fans—sorry, JT— tend to be frontrunners. Let’s see how many continue to support in this post-Nick Saban era."

Our QB room for 2025 looks pretty good …..

with the five (six counting Walk-on Colter Ginn) we have right now. If we could be assured that all of these guys return for 2026, I don’t see the need for getting another quarterback in the portal, unless he is an All-Star type QB. We might not be able to sign an All-Star type quarterback, if there are any available in the portal. If we do sign another quarterback, one of our current quarterbacks might decide to leave. Your thoughts on our quarterback room for 2025?

Make a case for the CFP

Is this all just a waste of time? Can someone make an argument that the National Championship games shouldn't just be Oregon vs Georgia?

Nobody would dispute that Oregon deserves to be there at 13-0. Can anyone play devil's advocate and make a case that Texas or Notre Dame or any other team should take Georgia's spot if we just had 1 vs 2 for the natty?

This is why I call it the CFP Invitational Tournament: a bunch of teams that don't really deserve a shot playing for a national championship to increase TV revenue. I'm not saying it is not going to be entertaining and that I'm not going to eat it up, but I am saying that our winning the SEC Championship is more difficult, and is therefor a greater accomplishment.

Regarding Arian Smith dropped passes

I thought Herbstreit made an interesting observation. He said Smith always jumps to catch the ball and usually for no reason. Looking back he’s right. I have to wonder if this is just a bad habit he’s developed in games or if he does that in practice too. I’m no expert and maybe Herbstreit is wrong but it was an interesting observation. What do you all think? He caught a laser from Stockton and kept his feet on the ground (and let the ball hit him in the chest).
