Georgia High School Football better than Texas High School Football

Like everything in that ugly assed state, their high school football is overrated. There are 184 NFL players from Texas; there are 146 from Georgia. There are 31 million people in the state of Texas; there are 11 million people in Georgia. Georgia produces more NFL players per capita than any other state. Georgia HS football is better talent producer than Texas and it ain’t close.

We have 3.5 weeks to turn...

Gunner into Jake Fromm 2.0 and turn our offense into a run first mindset. We don't need him to throw for 300, just 175 and no turnovers. We need Gunner to pick up 3 critical first downs next game with his arm. At this point I'd flex out Luckie and Delp and throw to them instead of our wideouts. I'd also spend time installing some type of qb counter and qb run other than the one draw that we have, and expand our boot/sprint pass game. We have to take on the mindset that a punt is not a bad play.
Fortunately we have the best combo of running backs since Chubb and Sony. That will help. Truss has been playing better, and the left side has been much better since Freeling came in as the starter. As long as our defense keeps playing like they did Saturday, I feel like we have a chance in any upcoming game.

Addressing Buster stuff

Ok, I can see some don’t appreciate me having as much fun with this as I have been.

There is definitely trolling involved on my part. However, there is real smoke about Buster coming back.

The ball will be in Bobo court. I’ve heard he is likely to take the Muschamp route.

Buster will be right up at the very top of the list if that happens for many reasons. I’m sure there will be other candidates also. Probably some NFL guys. Kirby likes people he knows he can trust and people whose family loves Athens.

I know Bobo wants a ring. So that could play into things too, the outcome of this season.

Transfers in the Kirby era

How many guys that have left have made a big impact at their next stop (for a winning program) and also hurt our chances of winning a natty. AD Mitchell. Literally one. Jermaine Johnson left, we win a natty. Major Burns leaves, we win a natty. Jermaine Burton leaves, we win a natty. Meeks and AJ Harris are still up in the air. That’s it and people wanna freak out about a kid that got targeted 4 times all year.

Congratulations to the winner of the Georgia - Texas (SECCG) Pick 'Em!

Thanks to the nearly 300 members here that entered a prediction in the Georgia - Texas (SECCG) Pick 'Em contest. The scoring was lower than expected - even with the OT.

No one ended up accurately predicting the final score of Georgia 22, Texas 19 but we had a couple of low score, tight game entries. Virtual runners up for close guesses include @LadyADawg 24-21, @DVD-Dawg 23-21 and a slew of entries had 24-20 including @stevedawg1, @FocoDawg, @timpeyt, @AlphaRed85, @YODisnow4444.

Two entries were razor thin close with their predictions, so the tiebreaker came down to passing yards by Ewers (358). @hometeamdawg was just off the mark with a 21-20 prediction and 119 yds tiebreaker but the winner this week by virtue of an even closer tiebreaker guess is @albanytravel who predicted 23-20 and 212 yds for Ewers.

Congratulations on the win @albanytravel - nicely done! @Radi Nabulsi will be in touch to help secure your prize.

Thanks to everyone who joined the contests all season long - hopefully we have 3 more games to go! Join us again for the Sugar Bowl Pick 'Em Contest later this month.

Good Morning Dawg Nation

Happy Portal Day.....🥴

Not something I'm looking forward to because I expect to be disappointed at first. I know its the new era of CFB but I dont have to like it. So glad we have 3 weeks until game day so CKS and staff aren't dealing with this and short prep times for a game. I'm positive we'll be fine in the end because of who leads this team and how he leads it!

Btw..... really like our bracket. LFG!!

Praying for all those on LDGMDNOPL
and all the GMDN gang too!

Happy Birthday/Anniversary if you're celebrating today 🎉🎉

Love you guys and gals, MEAN IT.....

Go Dawgs ❤️

Player’s considering portal should talk to Ladd

On importance of trusting the process. On his Redshirt year “Just stay locked in and buy into your role. And when your time comes, just make the best of it.”

Read the attached article. My favorite part is the time he first dressed out. He finally gets to and sits on sideline. Says it was “his favorite moment” . That is buying in and trusting the process. He didn’t run away and transfer. He used moments like that, for motivation. Now look at him.
