One of the Best News Articles I've Ever Read ... MSNBC getting flushed.

Right what should happen with what also gets flushed. I love how the lazy, hypocritical, intellectual lightweights and other cretins on that network are coming crashing down to their reality check. They have no audience and Comcast is done investing in their crappy network.

They hate the country that has given them a lifestyle better than royalty in most countries throughout history. Good for Comcast to write them off, especially that liar, Al Sharpton.

Landon Roldan

I'm in quite a conundrum with this guy.
On one hand, I've had a pretty firm stance on my feelings about "certain" WRs (& RBs & CBs, for that matter). I'm usually not buying. He's only a 3 star as well so that should give me further reason to give me pause.

But on the other hand, I've seen more than a few clips of him & he looks incredibly athletic & has legit speed.... & not just straight line speed, he looks quick as well. He's put up unreal stats on more than a few occasions that I've seen this season as well. Meaning he actually produces on the field & isn't just a fast guy trying to play football.

Am I just being like the majority of you peons who think because Ladd dominated that there can possibly another unicorn to play for UGA?
I know a lot of you poor saps thought Cole Speer was Ladd 2.0 but I never fell for that.

Am I being incredibly naive to think he can possibly be a real player for us when he gets here & not just a depth guy?

@HHolland92 @Trent Smallwood @LanceMcCurley @JedMay
Don't give me the PC or the nice answer. Am I a clown for thinking this?

I will not pay $20 to watch the hoop dawgs.

But I love the hoop dawgs.

Yes I will pay $20. Let’s get it!!! Postgame write up will be coming right after todays game (as long as this Flo College website actually is able to stream this thing) and hopefully tomorrows too but I’m a little less sure on tomorrow being able to have a write up.

Let’s get!!! Go Dawgs!!!

Two for UMass, free to a good home

I bought extra tickets so my daughter’s family could attend. Now have two available because the younger grand has pneumonia. That’s the set up for the conditional free offer. Tickets are in section 104, row 49. These are my regular seats I use…..I’ll be in another section for this one.

So, give me a good story:
- huge Dawg fan who’s never been to a game
- kids who’d love to join their parents for first time
- etc……

Every SEC Basketball Team's Most Underrated Player: Part 2 of 4

Georgia: Tyrin Lawrence, 6-4 Guard. Senior. Monticello, Georgia.

Lawrence returned to his home state to join Mike White’s surging Bulldogs. White did well on the recruiting trail and in the transfer portal and hopes to be competitive in the SEC for the first time in a while. The Dawgs are 5-0, and Lawrence has been a key cog. Their backcourt is one of the more underrated in the league. They run three guards instead of the traditional two guard set, and each one has a distinct role. Blue Cain is the shooter, Silas Demary Jr. is the floor general, and Lawrence is a pick and roll slashing guard. He will operate nicely with five star big Asa Newell in the pick and roll.

Lawrence can score and shoot efficiently. He made a name for himself at Vanderbilt, scoring in double figures in all but seven games last year. He can score in bunches, and is a proven performer when the lights are bright. It’s easy for me to remember his run with Vanderbilt at the end of 2023, when he averaged 19 points per game across six postseason games (SEC Tournament and NIT):

As a fifth year senior Lawrence provides experience and can be productive on both ends. In Georgia’s last win against Alabama A&M November 19th, he posted a stat line of 12 points, five assists, and six steals. He hit seven of eight free throw attempts and went 1-3 from behind the arc. While not known as a three point marksmen, he shoots it enough that you have to respect it. He’s shooting 43% from three so far in 2024, going 6/14 in five games.”

Next Opponent: Marquette

Rothstein: Georgia/Marquette

Kam Jones (22.6 points, 6.0 assists, 5.6 rebounds) is playing like a National Player of the Year candidate, but this game is about much more than just the Golden Eagles’ star guard. Today’s tilt represents the first major showcase game of the season for Georgia freshman Asa Newell, who’s quietly playing like one of the sport’s best first-year players. The 6-11 forward is currently averaging 16.8 points and 7.2 rebounds in the Bulldogs’ first five games, none of which came against power conference competition. Marquette has beaten Purdue and Maryland in back-to-back games.

Dasher UGA Sports: Big opportunity for Bulldogs in Bahamas

“It'll be a high-level game, a good opportunity for us to see where we're at,” head coach Mike White said. “Beating one of these guys would be great. Most importantly, it's a process. It's a journey for this team. Can we continue to make strides? Can we continue to protect our culture? Because I really like what we've got going on right now. At the end of the day, wins and losses will take care of themselves. We've just got to continue to improve and embrace the process and enjoy it. We've got a team right now playing with joy, but now we're (playing) high-level competition, adversity is coming at some point.”

“Who knows what type of adversity we’ll face? How do we handle it? Can we continue to move forward together?” White said. “This trip will give us the opportunity to spend more time with one another than normal circumstances That said, these guys spend a lot of time with each other already. We've got guys in our facility a lot with one another and in the players' lounge and getting extra shots in the gym. It'll be a trip to paradise, which would be really nice, but all the teams down there, there's a business side of it too where we want to come together and see where we stack up against some of the best teams in the country.”

“We’ve got a roster that just has a better chance to be more competitive against high-level competition, and I really like our depth,” White said. “Now, I don’t know what we will do moving forward. Who knows how many minutes some of these guys will play, or how many of our starters will play moving forward? But we’ll continue to evaluate it, and as long as each one of these guys individually is getting better and better, and again, collectively as a team, we will continue to make improvements and everything will work itself out.”

Weiszer ABH: Georgia basketball carries unbeaten record to Bahamas for big step up in competition

“You'd like to go 2-0,” third-year Georgia coach Mike White said. “Beating one of these guys would be great, but most importantly, it's a process. It's a journey for this team. Can we continue to make strides? Can we continue to protect our culture? Because I really like what we've got going on right now.”

“We have a roster that has more of a chance to be competitive against high level competition,” White said.

NonDawg Does 'Barn have ANY serious chance v TAMU? Discus

I mean crazy shat happens over there at night, yes? We've all witnessed it. Missed FG's turn into last second touchdowns, obvious penalties don't get called, crazy bounces of the ball, etc. The Plainsmen are an odd +2.5 at home; thinking it SHOULD be a touch. TAMU does have injuries plus is gonna play the young QB who has shown he can motor and has a pretty good arm. Game might to out to be very entertaining and I think it's possible Barn could snatch a win but it would be very close. OTOH, TAMU has better personnel but with Tejas looming they have a mammoth distraction. On the road in the SEC is not easy. Gonna climb out on my limb and say, by a single skinny point, 'Barn sneaks away with a mysterious victory. 22-21. Whatcha 'ya got?

NonDawg Ohio State

Has the chance to be Georgia of 2022 this week. Just for one week.

The Hoosiers come into their place as the darlings of CFB. The media loves them. It's exciting. They're at the top of CFB for the first time in forever. Sound familiar.

Same thing with Tennessee that year when they came into Sanford Stadium. Georgia boat raced them early and then coasted to victory in the rain in the ladder stages of the game.

Can Ohio State do the same? Can they be great? Can they shatter Cinderella's glass slipper?

I hope so. First time in my life I've ever rooted for the Buckeyes. I want them to win, BIG
