The latest on Kamario Taylor...

It looks very much like Mississippi State is going to hang onto the commitment of Kamario Taylor even though Georgia has been making a push.

The four-star quarterback from Macon (Miss.) Noxubee County wanted Georgia to offer his brother, Jaiden, and that hasn't happened yet and Mississippi State just offered. That's the writing on the wall there. UGA has plenty of other options and is involved with many other 2025 QBs.

UPDATE Talked with CJ Wiley tonight

Login to view embedded media Completely different conversation since he has committed to Georgia. He told me he has 100 percent shut down the recruiting process and will enroll early in Athens. The opportunity to play early at Georgia was appealing and the coaches made him aware that could happen. He feels he has some strengths to his game, but he also says he has a lot of work to do to get to where he wants to.

Coley was one of the main reasons that he picked Georgia. Also, he did not consider committing to Texas A&M after the visit. He said he was always going to come home from these visits and weigh everything out. Georgia was just ultimately where he wanted to go. I spoke with him about whether the coaches discussed the quarterback position and who might be throwing him the ball. He did not name anyone specific, but he said the coaches would have someone at quarterback next year to distribute the football to the playmakers.

He is already recruiting for the Bulldogs. Solomon Thomas and Juju Lewis are two of the main guys he is pursuing. He will be in Athens tomorrow with Lewis and he said that he will be in his ear about building something special then going to the league together.

Story will come in a few days.
