It all starts with LT.

He can’t get out quick.
Next I know y’all love #11, but he ain’t built for those screens.
What about Lovett.? Did he catch two screens all day?
No deep threat except Arian.
Our run blocking is about 58 grade.
Our wr’s that we were counting on have domestic dispute issues. That’s not Nice.
What’s up with Our db’s?

Time to face all of these issues.

O line

we have been whipped all year long upfront. You win and dominate upfront. Regardless of who is calling the play…. Regardless who is throwing the ball… regardless of how good your running backs are…. You loose here! We have no depth and it’s glowing!!!!! Bobo is handcuffed calling plays. Guys have to catch the damn ball. We have no man beaters! And Kirby will fix it!!! If we don’t get some folks back…. We will continue to struggle!

The problem with our screen game...

...is not our blocking. Defenses are reading our damn mail. Everyone in the stadium knows the personnel/formation combos and their DBs/LB - hell, even their edge players - come flying like bats out of Hell at the snap. There are times they even start creeping before the snap - they KNOW it's coming. It's simple film study.

It's damn near impossible to block when the D reacts that way. We will decry Yurosek/Luckie/Delp or some poor WR getting run over or run by, but they're being put in a situation where they can't succeed. And on top of that, the WR is receiving the ball already under great duress.

Yeah, I know...screen game is an extension of the run game. If it was between the tackles we wouldn't keep running into a run blitz over and over and over. That's all we are doing, just on the perimeter.

We are fine...

Good Lord, some of you people. This is a game to control the clock and run the ball. If you didn't expect that going against a no-huddle offense plus the rain, that's on you. You control the clock and protect your D against HUNH. We will throw it more, but this is a very sound approach to start the game by UGA.

Ole Miss made some adjustments on O after first series. Tip your hat. And a tipped pass for a first down and a 4th down conversion are what fueled their only TD drive. Now we are countering with our own adjustments.

This is why they play four quarters. And we have nearly 3 quarters left.
