What I'm comparing this to is the Oregon-Ohio State 12 man penalty. It was the NCAA that earlier this year made a statement on that incident and literally changed the rule mid-season. That was independent of any involvement the Big 10 had in it.

So just wondering if because of the fact that this was an unprecedented officiating issue if the NCAA should address it?

And I'm not referring to or implying that the NCAA should be involved in any reprimand/punishment towards the officials.

I'm just wondering if the NCAA will issue some clarification or procedure change going forward to address such issues and try and prevent it from happening again like they did after the Oregon-Ohio State game.

I was at the Falcons game on Sunday and even though the game got away from us in the 2nd half, I want to comment on the stadium atmosphere.

First off, being a Falcons fan I will be the first to say our fanbase is fair weather. With the Falcons having the first decent start to the season in a long time, there is obviously increased interest and energy in the stadium that hasn't been there in recent years.

From an atmosphere standpoint, the stadium production is awesome. Excellent song choice featuring artists from Atlanta and Georgia, there were no dead moments. Every song brought energy and the fans responded to it. There wasn't a single time where I thought "why are they playing this song right now." It was a great time. They also have clips from celebrities like Samuel L. Jackson, Mike Vick, Goldberg, T.I., Lil Jon, etc. to play during TV timeouts or in between plays.

I know it is the NFL and a different fan base, but the stadium production team at Georgia could learn a thing or two about how to build an atmosphere from the Falcons. There should be crazy energy at Georgia home games. Just my opinion.

With a foot surgery. Hope Hall can stay healthy, not much freshman support in 2024

Obviously we got to have the next 3.

Need Bama to beat Mizzou otherwise they have a tie breaker over us.

Vandy will take care of themselves.

That eliminates teams that beat alabama ahead of us (or if mizzou beats Bama).

AM/LSU play so 1 will lose.

LSU lose to AM but beats bama both would be ahead of us. Then need Texas to beat am.

AM lose to LSU we both beat the same teams assuming they beat texas. Then it comes down to the each teams conference opponents have the better total record. That would favor us. The different opponents are for us Bama/10rc/ole miss vs Carl’s Jr, arky and mizzou

So win the next three and bama beats ole miss and we are in

If AM beats LSU then would need with bama win over lsu or Texas win over am

All-in-all it's a crappy day for college football, would have to think with the viewership ratings that we were involved with vs. Bama and now UT that ABC will go with us for the night option.

The question was how would a loss impact UGA and Texas. Everyone else was addressing it from an SEC and NC impact.

Howard took a different angle and said there has been an aura of invincibility around UGA for several years, and a loss would begin dismantling that aura and transform UGA into beatable in the minds of our opponents going forward.

And he was spot on. There is a psychological edge we have at this point of our dominance where the other team may have hope, but not belief. The media was starting to chisel away at that status this season. And I agree that aura was at stake in Austin.

The Texas beatdown was huge in ways far beyond the win itself. We reminded everyone of our brand. And Kirby reminded everyone he's the most intense competitor there is among head coaches.

Texas wasn't a win. It was an "oh shit" reminder for the rest of college football.

We're still GEORGIA. Hope isn't a strategy.

I have 12 parking passes in the Tailgaters Sideline Lot in Jacksonville. These are in a group of 6 x 2 back to back so a large area in one block. We have a very large tailgate there every year, but can't make it this year. This is a great spot if you are planning a large tailgate as you have room to have a private porta-john right in your tailgate, plenty of room for multiple tents, and still room to park. It's a very lively area and a short walk to the stadium. These are selling for $250 on stubhub, but I wanted to put them on here for a bit first to make sure these go to Dawgs. We have a soccer tournament in November in Columbus. (sounds awesome right?) Is the Riverwalk area nice and worth paying a premium vs staying in a cheaper hotel closer to the fields?

Both are sitting undefeated in the AAC and #1 and #2. IF both are undefeated in AAC play when they play the annual Army/Navy game, they would then play each other the next week for the AAC championship.

Looking at Army's schedule, their only real challenge is a road game at Notre Dame Nov. 23.

Looking at Navy, they also play Notre Dame at home this weekend.

If both lose, that is not a conference loss, so they would remain top of the standings.

Has a team ever played one another in consecutive games? Could the 13-0 or 12-1 AAC champ get a playoff spot?

Rewatched the game last night. One thing that I noticed on the defensive side of the ball was #13.
He looks more fluid and quicker. Seems as though he very close to the Mykel we saw last year.
This is HUGE! it opens up #11 to rush from the opposite side. This means a lot to this defense
down the stretch and also allows time for our DBs to make plays on the ball as we saw Everette
make on that INT
