The Georgia Bulldogs football program has certainly been trending toward dynasty status, especially with their recent successes. They've won multiple national championships, including back-to-back titles in 2021 and 2022. Consistent top-tier recruiting, strong coaching, and a powerful defense have contributed to their rise.

A program is often considered a dynasty when it maintains success over several years, consistently competing for championships, and having a strong legacy. If Georgia continues this trajectory, they could solidify their status as a modern dynasty in college football.

Was listening to his Game Theory Podcast's "Way Too Early 2025 NBA Mock Draft" episode... Asa was selected as the 13th best prospect by Sam. The comments on Asa were through a lens of projecting him as an NBA player, not as a college player, but they stopped and talked about UGA and how much potential the team overall has. I've probably posted here before but I think they are the best overall basketball podcast out. They are very tapped into NBA, NBA Draft, college, overseas, AAU etc. so hearing them talk pretty glowingly about the Dawgs got me pumped. Thought I would share some highlights:

Comments on Asa:
"Asa Newell plays super hard all the time, has unbelievable instincts. Every single time I watch him it just feels like he's making a winning play."

"Really developed the offensive game over the last 18 months... a lefty who can knock down shots from the perimeter, kind of face up a little bit."

For those of you affected by Helene you will likely be an after thought by the end of the week. It's just the way the media works. About the only good thing is that Congress will immediately put together an aid package for Milton as well as Helene. Tampa/St Pete/Sarasota going to get hammered. Storm surge will be on the southern side of this one... as far south as Ft Meyers probably. Gonna really mess with the election in Florida as power will be off for millions for weeks. Also expect hundreds of thousands heading up 75 starting tomorrow,

This is the epitome of a mediocre mindset. Classic Mark Richt/Mike BoBo atttiude. Who in the absolute heck wants to hit their stride 7 games into the season? You hit your stride game one. After spring ball, two a days, summer position workouts and fall camp. Be firing on 90% of your cylinders after game 1. That’s why teams typically play tune up games game one. No wonder the offense can’t score in the first half. They think they’re still getting ready for the season to start. Smdh.

2) Is there really anything the other 50+ 'notable' programs (ones we'd hear about if all these arrests were taking place there) are doing or not doing to keep this from happening so often? I can't imagine what those things would be.

I'm as frustrated as anyone, but there is just a lot of random ideas about why this keeps happening. Lack of leadership or accountability, not vetting recruits or transfers enough, etc. Maybe, but I ask, is FSU, Louisville, Minnesota, or whoever else doing anything so different?

Again, buck has to stop with Kirby but I just can't understand what we are or aren't doing compared with other teams.

Ran against Bama had a lot of success. Should Bobo use that play going forward as it was the difference in a win and a loss. If they could practice and perfect it prior to the Texas game without showing it maybe it gives us an advantage!?!

I think that play would put Branson back in the top rotation and wear out the opposing LB’s.
