In Coach White’s words

After the Arkansas game we are still trying to figure out who we are on offensive end. After the game tonight “we are literally experimenting in the middle of SEC play.”

Why in the world are we 20 games in and experimenting and trying to find out who we are offensively. We don’t have time for this BS. Most talent in years and we are pissing it away. Then again maybe we aren't as talented as we think we are or should be.

I love Arian Smith. Will always be a DGD in my book.

He was as good as you can ever ask a track star to be, ala the Scott-Wesley's of the world.

That said, let's talk about his speed. Has he ever hit a crease and left defenders in his wake after a catch or getting a corner on an end-around?

Does it take a quarter mile for him to hit top end, or is his speed a bit over-rated?

Players that have to step up next year........

Agree with article for sure, i deviated somewhat with their list.

1. Nate Frazier - has to stay healthy and run for 1,000 yards
2. Jonah-Ajonye - expected to step into Mykel position, and begin developing into a NFL DL prospect
3. Daniel Calhoun - no reason he can't be a starting guard and meet or exceed our guard play for next year
4. Chris Cole - expect to see him rush the QB more and give some more versatility in our LB core, especially overall speed
5. Elis Robinso or Demello Jones - one of them needs to develop as a shut down cover corner either in nickel or dime coverage.
6. Chauncy Bowens - he needs to step-up and be the clear #2 RB next year. He is big and strong and appears to have the ability.

Article mentions Nitro, Pug, Green, Ogboko and Johnson as well. Can't wait to see Pug sling it around in Spring Game to assess his ability.

Folks we have the talent waiting to go, they just need to step up and be elite.

My main two concerns with Gunner

I want Gunner to be the man so bad but I’m not sure he can be.

1. His elongated throwing motion is a huge concern. Feels like he is going to have at least 1 fumble a game vs good teams.

Did he have 4 in the last 1 1/2 games?

2. He doesn’t really feel like a true dual threat runner. Yes, he can run and will take contact but he looks like Mike Alstot out there.

Maybe it was due to our less than impressive OL when he played.

Besides that, he looked solid in his debut.
