1st 3 SEC Games Analysis

@CKJohnson wanted a post, so I got you!

Here’s my thoughts:
1) how bout them hoop dawgs!!! So good to see the Steg alive and well! So good to be beating good teams!
2) we have the size and athleticism that will give us a chance every freaking night. We happy some athletic horses.
3) when your two main guys (Silas and Asa) are unselfish and committed to playing relentless D and rebounding, it sets a beautiful culture. Culture appears to be through the roof.
4) we seem to be absolutely primed to make the tourney
5) Somto completely changed the game on D tonight. He basically closed the game out on D, awesome!
7) I am concerned about the offense. We are averaging about 7 assists per game in sec play. Thats not a lot at all. It often feels like our best play is to throw it up at the rim and go get it. We made 20 more free throws than Oklahoma tonight. We made 14 more free throws than Kentucky. Can we keep getting a whistle like that? We shot less free throws than Ole Miss in our road game and we only put up 51 points total.
8) at the same time we shot the three ball poorly in both of our sec home games and STILL got two HUGE W’s so maybe we can figure it out?!?! Or maybe we can just win a bunch with defense and rebounding.
9) Leffew kinda salted the Kentucky game away with a floater off the glass and he kinda closed it tonight on offense with 2-3 buckets. Great to see!

Hoop dawgs forever! Go Dawgs!

NonDawg Question for those who have done the Mighty Five.....

One of the top things on my wife's bucket list is to travel to the Mighty Five. So, I'm putting together a trip to head out there in April. We have 7 days total for this trip(Thursday to Thursday), however, we're staying in Vegas from Thursday to Sunday then driving from there to, most likely, Moab. She's never seen Hoover Dam, so we'll do that on Friday and then Saturday night we're going to a concert in Vegas. So, that'll leave us with 3 days(Mon, Tues, and Wednesday) to visit 3 of the 5.

Of the 5, which would be your top 3?

Many thanks in advance.

Bammer starting offensive tackle announces portal entry....

Tide offensive tackle Elijah Pritchett has announced for the transfer portal. A Former 5-Star who started all 13 games in '24 will have 2 years of eligibility remaining. Yes, UGA and others offered Pritchett out of HS. Me thinks a guy like this could have an immediate positive impact on Dawgs OL right out of the box.
