So what can we do for Kirby? Let's circle the wagons, Vent.

Let's face it, Kirby Smart has done a lot for everyone on this board, either paid or unpaid. Starting a couple of threads to pass along your thoughts or prayers certainly doesn't scratch the surface for what we should be able to do as the Vent.

I honestly think a GoFundMe type of thing could be started to purchase something that would honor Sonny Smart to be presented to Kirby would be honorable.

I joke about a lot of things but this isn't one of them. We owe Kirby Smart and should have his back accordingly.

Thoughts?

Hope everybody had a great Christmas
I’m not surprised or worried about our inactivity in the portal at this moment.
I think Kirby is focused more on keeping who we have and keeping them focused on winning a championship. I think we’ll see some more activity in the spring

Moving to the sugar bowl. I feel like Georgia wins this game running the football , setting up the play action pass, and playing outstanding defense.

I think this is the first time our starting defense and OL has been fully healthy since the Clemson game. I think we will shut Notre Dame down and win something like 31 to 17 or 27-17. First one to 20 wins.

It makes a huge difference having three weeks to prepare and for gunner to get first team reps! I also think having Coach Muschamp on the sidelines helps a lot
Bottom line is our best beats their best. So let’s play our best.

Also, I think this is perhaps my favorite home game of all time. Beautiful day , game day was an Athens and I thought it was pretty cool to watch Notre Dame with all their tradition come down to play between the hedges. And this was our first game with the new lights. The game was a little slow at times, but the crowd was electric.

Beck going in the portal might be the most Georgia thing ever.

Kirby runs the best program in the country, everyone is chasing him in regards to culture. Beck put up crazy numbers in 2023. Had a setback this year but why in the world would he leave and transfer elsewhere, especially to Miami. It's more of a risk leaving vs staying in Athens knowing the players around you and the offense vs learning a new system and building chemistry with an entire new team.. I know he's got a GF down there and there's tons of money on the table but man, it just makes no sense to me.

Only at Georgia does the 2-year starting QB decide he's going to opt out of the draft and hit the portal.

I know many of you on here will say glad he's gone but man, it's a huge blow for us not retaining a 2-year starter with 1st round draft potential at QB. It's just a bad look for us and it's typical Georgia, especially at the QB position.
