Just a thought that occurred to me when it comes to the type of game I think the Sugar will be

WE MUST VALUE FGs

Just take the points. Points will be at a premium this game. Would not shock me at all if we won with six FGs.

I get the analytics might say go for it on a 4th and 2. But that doesn't measure a first-time starter, in a playoff game, with two teams that want to lean into their defense.

The more positive outcomes to the end of every drive that Gunner gives us, will also only build his and the teams confidence.

My biggest pet peeve on this forum...

Are all the moroons that don't understand the current state of fairs. Let me lay it all out for you with the facts:

Daemon Wilson made a huge mistake leaving.

Gunnar Stocktown is a damn hero. Anyone who drives a Forde truck should never be questioned!

NIL and transfor portal are OUT OF CONTROL! Ruining the sport. Georgia should get rid of all that crap and only get players who love the G. Players don't deserve a dime; they get intuition!

Kirbee Smart is pissing away all the goodwill & success he's gained by not firing coach Bohbow and coach Cirehls. Inforgivable!

Social media should never have been invented. More harm than good to society.

I'm so sick of all the that bombastic drum music kids listen to these days. Samford Stadium should only ever play country music.

Stacy Searels had a worse night than Parker Jones

The sideline penalty was brutal. 20 yard net effect but absolute momentum killer. Even so, Searels and the OL got whipped all night. They were flat footed. They were slow. They were not prepared. That dude was a concern all season. He was a game killer tonight.

Kirby has some tough staff decisions to make. How he handles WR and OL will tell us a lot.

Why not move the Sugar Bowl?

I get that games take a while to prepare for logistically, but there’s a sufficiently large venue right up the road and it’s an 8:45 kick. Theyve got all day, I don’t get why they don’t move it up to Baton Rouge.

Plus finding a way to keep it today doesn’t hand a gargantuan advantage to a Penn State that already has 24 hours rest on the winner before any delays….

Edit: I fully understand the logistics are not realistic. Was looking for details as to why for my personal knowledge. Intelligent responses are appreciated.

NonDawg Does Boise have a better shot against PSU than many think?

Like many, I've been dismissive of the Broncos chances against the Nittany Lions.

But maybe they deserve a bit more credit for their early season loss to Oregon? While Penn State lost at home by 7 to Ohio State (being outscored 20-3 over the last 50 mins of the game), Boise State went on the road and went toe-to-toe with the #1 team in the country, losing by 3 on the last play of the game.

Boise outgained the Ducks, led at halftime (20-14) and 34-27 with 10 mins remaining. Oregon did have two turnovers, but they also had both an 85yd punt return for a TD and a 99yd KOR for a TD (recovering their own fumble in the endzone). There were 5 lead changes in the game, truly a back and forth affair.

They haven't played anyone since then, and did have close games with conference foes Wyoming and Nevada (similarly, PSU struggled with Minnesota and USC).

I've no doubt that PSU has the deeper talent throughout their roster. And maybe they just shut down Jeanty and bully the Broncos' D.

Or maybe Penn State isn't quite as strong away from Happy Valley, a pro-Boise crowd shows up in Tempe, and James Franklin realizes Boise is a top-10 team 🤔
