I’m sure I am missing something but I can’t think of anything other than the fake punt against Texas. I just didn’t see any creativity or innovation of scheming receivers open at all. It seemed like every pass to our receivers was a 50/50 ball…..rarely seeing a receiver wide open or uncontested. We were next to last in the SEC in rushing the football. Not many boot leg play action or misdirection plays. I’m sure I’m overlooking something but watching this offense was like a dreaded trip to the dentist to me. Frustrating….I think we need to be able to run the ball better and that starts up front. We need to throw the ball when we want to….not when we have to. Creativity and the timing of certain plays being called is an art. Some people have that gift and some don’t. We weren’t nearly as talented as we were in the past, but I surely didn’t think we helped ourselves either in play calling to score points. Nothing at all seemed easy for this offense……everything seemed hard and it was trudgery to score. We scored 7 or less points in the first half of 8 of our games. Hard to survive that over and over. Here’s to a better 2025 season…..Go Dawgs!!

There is a half to play and a tough team with history of comebacks this year…..

But if this finishes with a loss serious self evaluation required. Stockton has been fine. But otherwise a rested UGA team is getting flat beat by….Notre Dame. Whether its staff, personnel or what….some serious evaluation needs to be done.

My God he’s going to make an NFL franchise very, very happy.

Obviously pissed about the loss. But excited about the opportunity to improve in a lot of spots. Seems like we got some soul searching to do in what could be an inflection point of a season next year

When we declined the penalty on the second running into the kicker. We were afraid we could not execute the punt. That set the tone.

1) Followed that up with had 5 turnovers (two fumbles, two turnovers on downs, and offsides on 4th down.
2) Three dropped passes.
3) Total lack of aggression on special teams.
4) 15 yard penalty on walk-on on sideline.
5) Piss poor execution on protecting Gunner’s blind side.
6) Lack of commitment to run.

Took my son to his first game in Sanford against UMASS this fall. Now I’m wanting to show him around Stegeman and Foley.
