First responders on this forum

Football has felt weird today, and extremely secondary... because in moments like this, it is. However, watching the videos out of New Orleans, one thing that stood out was how the first responders bravely rushed the scene just like they always do. They don't hesitate. If you are a first responder -- police, fire, ems -- You are the best of our society. All of you. Yall do things anonymously day in and day out that protect and save the rest of us. Thank you

If you know a police officer, a paramedic, or a firefighter, maybe take a moment to simply send them a note of gratitude in the weeks ahead to say how much we appreciate what they do. Maybe if you see one in line grabbing some coffee or a quick meal, consider paying for it if you are able.

As usual, it just takes a couple of Knuckleheads to screw your day up....

I think it should be passed into Law that if you commit any crime that stops, interrupts, cancels or postpones ANY college football game and are convicted its automatic Death penalty. If you are an accomplice, life with no possibility for parole. Seems harsh i know, but there are some things you just dont mess with.

CFP in 2026 ...

2025 - the only thing that will change is that they will seed in the exact order of the CFP Poll.

2026 - lots of changes.

- 14 teams in CFP
- AQs - either top 5 conference champs, or 3/3/2/2/1/3 AQ format
- The season will start in Week 0
- Rivalry weekend will be the week before Thanksgiving.
- Conference championships Thanksgiving weekend.
- 2nd week of December - Round 1 at home teams - no Saturday NFL games
- 3rd week of December - Round 2 at home teams - competing with the NFL games
- Semis - 2 NY6 bowl games (later should be bid out like the NC)
- Finals - 2nd Monday of January (12th)

This is what it would have looked like this year:

Byes:

UGA

Clemson at Texas
Miami at PSU
ASU at Notre Dame
Bama at tOSU
SMU at UTjr
Boise at Indiana

Indiana at Oregon
UTjr at UGA
tOSU at Texas
Notre Dame at PSU

Are we the healthiest we have been?

Obviously losing Carson and Brett hurt… but overall are we the healthiest we have been since the beginning of fall camp? Smael is back and healthy, McLeod healthy, Mykell looks healthy, Brinson is healthy, Big Earnest seems to be healthy and gives you a great 3rd tackle, Etienne looked really good in the SECCG. I feel great about where this team is.

Upon further review

Upon further review , Good for Beck
he was loyal to Georgia for five years and leaves with two National championship rings and two SEC rings
i’m almost certain he got his degree, I can’t remember exactly but I think he did. He blew up last year, made a lot of money and gained everybody’s respect. This year everything went backwards a few steps but he seem to keep fighting through it until his injury. I don’t know that I would’ve known what to do in his position either. Timetable for recovery is uncertain. NFL draft status needs to be re-furbish but how do you do that right now —you do exactly what he did. You transfer to a less physical league, rehab and get a bag doing it . Evidently a big bag.
and also let’s face it many of us had that girlfriend in our early to mid 20s that we thought we would never be able to live without and he’s got one now. Spend a year in Miami. hopefully get your arm back and if not you probably got enough money to have a huge step up on life. Andy probably had an insurance policy.
Georgia now moves forward with the quarterback rotation, somebody who’s waited their turn just like Beck
I think it’s a good move for all parties and as far as his communication with Georgia not being great I don’t know if that means anything besides he didn’t know what the hell he was going to do. Truthfully none of us would have in that position. Thanks for all the good wins. Thanks for bringing us back at Auburn last year with the help of Bowers greatness. Yeah this year was a step back so that just means it’s time to change something. Thanks for the memories. Go Dawgs
I think it works out for everybody.

Beck

He won’t be back here another year. He will more than likely transfer or go to the draft in the 2-3 round. Kirby has guys he has to keep happy and a plan in place. I appreciate Beck not transferring in an era of CFB where it’s normal but his time has come and gone. There will be growing pains and ups and downs with Gunner but I like my chances with that guy and how much this locker room loves him. We shall see in due time.
