Hey, it’s an opinion. Not Marxism, but the similarities with progressivism track closely in regards to the accepted game plan. We can disagree, just throwing out observations.
The Communist Manefesto, as Marx and Engels initially drafted, was called “Communism Confession of Faith.”
In 1847, Engels wrote to Marx that they should drop the catechism form and call it “Communist Manifesto.”
I only mention that because of the “satanic” overtones of it. It was a communistic confession of faith. For these two atheists, their communism became their religion. The human psyche will strive for spiritual attachment, even contrived. Seeking of acceptance from a movement, as God is removed from public society. And this was a foundational principal in the Manifesto.
The satanic tones are real and can be illustrated. Later
Communism was forged and focused on money, property, gold. It was not about the soul of man. The key to communist utopia would be economics. Solve the economic problem and you would solve the human problem.
For most humans, economics is not the centerpiece of existence. To communists, socialists and the progressive movement, it is the alpha and omega. That if society resolves, say, “economic inequality” with all income levels to same dollar number, or more fully redistributes wealth, then something closer to Heaven on earth can follow.
Atheist communists and socialists have always believed that the answer to man’s miseries are not in God (the existence of which they deny), but in economic materialism.
The ironic thing is that communists blast the wealthy for being obsessed with money and material things, when in fact, communists are obsessed with money and material things (in the absence of God).
The progressive movement is founded structurally in equality and equity. These are defined not in opportunity, but in monetary meaning. Class struggle and victimhood is stoked by wealth redistribution, the taking from one and providing for another whether earned or not. In human psyche, we will take what is offered and generationally demand what is considered a normal support that was not intended to be generational. Support was stop gap, but once the citizen receives it, it will vote for it to continue, and the congressman will sell it. This is the progressive point. The promise of support moves agenda. The support blinds the citizen. This is a Marxist principal.
#1 Marxist Communism and the progressive movement demand wealth redistribution by the government in the name of benevolence, to achieve equality and equity, while promoting the selling of benevolence for an agenda vote.
The conservative movement does not promote wealth redistribution and promotes privatized benevolence programs that cannot be bartered by a politician.
Next, racial and class discord.
