Following the Iowa Caucus results, Joe Biden's handlers took to social media to vilify Trump voters.

"Looks like Donald Trump just won Iowa. He’s the clear front runner on the other side at this point. But here’s the thing: this election was always going to be you and me vs. extreme MAGA Republicans. It was true yesterday and it’ll be true tomorrow."

Meanwhile, Donald Trump took the stage to thank voters and call for unity across America.

"I really think that this is time now for everybody in our country to come together. We want to come together, whether Republican or Democrat, Liberal or Conservative. It would be so nice if we could come together and straighten out the world, and straighten out the problems, and straighten out all the death and destruction we are witnessing that has practically never been like this. It's so important and I want to make that part of our message. We are going to come together. It's going to happen soon, too."

If Trump would/could stay on message as he did in his latest town hall he could win this election. Yes, it would be very difficult, especially in swing states with Democrat Governors with little absentee voting verification , but he is definitely in contention. He’ll need similar consistent messaging for the next 9 months, we shall see….

He'll also need some help from those that consider themselves to be the anointed in the Pub party. Iows, his chances will be greater if those that actually campaigned for Biden and then turned around and blamed Trump for losing the election would swallow their pride, figure out Trump's popularity is based on supporting positions they supposedly endorse and work with him instead of actually participating in things like the Mueller investigation and trying to impeach and convict him over a phone call to another world leader.

Certainly, and his demeanor over the next 9 months will greatly impact their support. No Twitter rants nor crazy a$$ comments would help him greatly with independents and suburban women. No one likes Biden, so thus Trump has a chance

Trump can be his own worst enemy, no doubt but that's where he needs folks like McConnell, McCarthy, Paul Ryan, John Boehner and on and on to act more like allies than agitators. The choice is simple. If you are a loyal pub and care at all about policy, you'll ditch the Biden return to normalcy BS and jump on the train with the guy that actually tried to govern in the way the party has promised for decades. We've seen the true colors of the dems. If Trump is the nominee and it looks almost like a fait acompli, fighting against him simply becomes fighting for the dem agenda.

Is this something you believe can not happen? I am sure those around him are telling him this is the message that wins for you. Less agitation and more heart. Whether he sticks to it when poked is the question.

Biden was racial jungling and a super predator lock up guy early in his career. He was Obama’s quasi Republican to balance the ticket. Now he is left of left. Talk about self deception. Makes me literally laugh out loud. You buy it every time he calls LL a boy right.

The Trump quote was from his speech. It was the first thing he said after thanking Iowa voters, and I posted all of it.

He then went on to another topic, which was to thank people who campaigned for him and to compliment the other candidates for the next ten minutes. Certainly, it is easy to be magnanimous when you just crushed your competitors.

The rest, about 12 minutes, was on his platform and looking ahead to New Hampshire. He got one swipe against Biden in the middle of all that, calling him the worst president in American history.
