Conservatives aren't much better. Last election, a trans satanist anarchist (pretty much the last person conservatives would ever want in power) won the republican nom as a joke to the broken system for sheriff. Got 4000 votes despite telling voters the campaign slogan was "f the police"

If you didn't think the other candidate was qualified, why wouldn't you choose to have another election?

The new one out there I love is the thought of being put in jail if my ten year old son wants to cut his pecker off because his best friend thinks it is cool.
