Drove through a “No Kings” protest out here…

Not me. I am a conservative and certainly not a Democrat ( used to be ) and also not endeared to the Republican Party.
My bad, lol, dam!, that's most violent i accidentally got cause that's fighting words, laughing my arse off! Got to many threads going, forgive me! Yeah I'm with you!

I’ve lived about 45 mins north of Denver for going on 4 years now. Been downtown three, maybe four times. Hate it down there! Everywhere you go reeks of weed & piss. 🤮
Definitely a let down when you come off I-70 from the west with all the gorgeous scenery and get off in that cesspool of a city

The 3.5% rule is what Antifa was using for their organized protests. That is an all encompassing list you have.
That maybe some bastardizrd application of the 3.5% Rule but it originated from political scientists Erica Chenoweth to show how sustained protest can result in real world change.

I was visiting my parents in GA today and we drove through McDonough. I asked the crowd the same question I ask the chat libs and have yet to get an answer... who did y'all vote for to be the Presidential nominee for the Democratic Party? No answer from the crowd so I said that's right... do as your told. No kings my arse.

A lot of those people in McDonough probably did like I did: voted in the Republican primary, not the Democratic.

I doubt most people that voted in the Republican primary in McDonough were down there Saturday. It wasn't exactly a large crowd... perhaps a few hundred people.

He's talking about the 3.5% Rule. It doesn’t just just look at turnout for marches but sustained participation so think marches and:

Attending protests or marches

Participating in strikes or work stoppages

Joining sit-ins or occupations

Engaging in civil disobedience (e.g., blocking roads, refusing orders)

Organizing events or local chapters

Distributing flyers or campaign materials

Canvassing door-to-door or making phone calls

Coordinating logistics or supply support

Participating in boycotts

Providing housing, food, or medical aid to activists

Engaging in petition drives or signature campaigns

Hosting teach-ins or public education events

Refusing to comply with unjust laws or mandates

Disrupting political or economic systems through nonviolence

Creating or maintaining protest infrastructure (e.g., encampments)

So if you consider the entirety of activities included in 3.5% sustained participation with the size of protest; I'll say there's evidence for wide spread support for the movement.
What does widespread do if it's not significant? Not to mention these were piggy backed on Pride marches in some cases.

NoKings.org estimated 5 million nationwide, but all reports from police in the bigger cities are saying they had roughly 1/3 of what they expected. People can make of it what they will.

in the beautiful but ultra woke state of CO. All I did was drive through a few times with my Trump flag & MAGA hat on. Maybe I honked the horn a few times each way, but other than that all I did was smile & wave.

It’s their 1st Amendment right to peacefully protest, but it wasn’t the guys right to throw something at my car. Lucky for me an unmarked Police car was behind me, saw the whole thing & promptly threw on their lights. His day went from bad to worse faster than Biden could fall off a bike, lol. Best part, no visible damage to my car! #Winning
We’re in a pretty dangerous place where you would feel unsafe, because you were, at a rally.

That is the definition of unfree speech, if the government can’t/ won’t protect you as you speak it.

No one should be celebrating these far left lunatics destroying our cities. Sad.

Unfortunately, we have to differentiate between those simply standing with a sign and those throwing bricks. And I have ZERO tolerance for people destroying property or terrorizing people just trying to live.

“Liberal talking heads”, otherwise known as trusted scientific and medical leadership.
Trusted scientific and medical leadership? That is a stretch. This pandemic was used for financial gain and certain people used it to gain authoritarian power. The science showed within a year that much of the supposed measures were ineffective if not totally wrong. Yet there was still money to be made and power to gained.

Specific examples please of all this nefarious intent or I’ll dismiss your post as a regurgitation of unsupported right-wing talking points.

It is not worth the time. You will not be open minded with some situations. There are many and I promise you will see a good bit come out in the next several years. Sadly you will probably have to search for it because most of the press will not mention it. Much like the trans gender care and surgeries. You can find more legitimate studies and information in Europe.
Dissenting views were squashed and even very good studies totally ignored and hidden.
I have been in the medical field for 30 plus years and I have seen a lot during that time. The government was used in nefarious ways to promote a certain message and methodology. I understand the need in the beginning of the outbreak. But there was so much credible evidence that refuted many of the early claims but it was immediately dismissed.
I am fine with your ignoring my thoughts. You will see a good bit of what you believe was bogus. Much like Biden’s mental health. You were just as adamant about that and acted like a dismissive arrogant know it all. That is why I struggle to even try to have a thoughtful discussion with you on some topics. You dig your heels in and get emotional and that get us nowhere.
Sorry I rambled as I was trying to leave the office.

It would have been even better if this could have happened in florida.
