PS-Jimmy Carter was a real POS away from the cameras according to most who have had dealt with him. He was a complete phony as well. I don't understand all the talk lately about absorbing Canada (or parts of it) and Greenland into the USA as various states with senators and representatives.
Those places would vote for the Dems and pass local laws to stop mining/oil exploration within its jurisdiction.
If trump is interested in an american empire,..he should use the cold war post-colonialism model in which you saddle a 3rd world country with debt, use said 3rd world countries natural resources (oil, minerals, land usage for canals/military bases) as collateral for the debt.,....then declare third world country as negligent in debt payment and take over the collateral of natural resources (see USA, and China silk road initiative)

Yet I have friends and know of many others that are Christian’s but support the Dem party. I don’t understand it. Abortion should be enough to turn any God believing person away from a party that not only support it but openly and enthusiastically encourages it.

For all of Carter's faults, of which there are many, he will be the last of the original American founding stock to ever be the President in this country. He was a southern planter who openly campaigned with the Dixie Flag and a southern democrat. These things don't exist anymore and it makes me sad.
I don't mourn Jimmy Carter, who is likely in hell based off the funeral songs played, but I do mourn an America I never got to experience. He was the last gasp of the Old South. I just wish Wallace could have won in 68 rather than Carter in 76.
