The government bureaucrats & politicians are trying to bleed Russia much the way we did the USSR in Afghanistan. However, we are bleeding ourselves in the process. Last time I checked, we are running low on certain types of military hardware as well as being 34 trillion in debt! If we're not careful, we may do irreparable harm to ourselves in this process!

So true. Also, those wanting to extend the war to “bleed” Russia don’t seem to care that we are destroying a country and wiping out a generation of young Ukrainian men.
