Cute answer. Nevertheless, I’m pretty well informed and I never saw it. I just googled Obama and noose. The only stories that came up are some fans wearing a costume of Obama in a noose at a game. Still no stories of widespread cartoons. To be sure, certainly nothing like what New York Magazine and Time published this week.

Good lord man, you're really stretching here. Remember all those high profile Pubs taking pics with severed O heads? Neither do I. Remember those right wing rallies in DC where people on the stage talked about blowing up the White House? How about that Pub actor which asked how long it had been since an actor shot the POTUS? How about the Pub speaker of the house accusing O of racism?
Sure, there were and always will be fringe groups making outlandish, vile statements about any leader but there were very few mainstream Pubs attacking O personally. A lot of Pubs attacked O's policies and some of his past associations but you didn't see Pubs marching in mass wearing cock hats calling themselves nasty white boys.

II never saw it either. Maybe some people go out of their way to find one dumbass drawing a picture. I have noticed some bad images of Trump which were so publicized they were unavoidable. Last week New Yorker magazine's cover had him getting flattened on an escalator. The Kathy Griffin beheading thing was the equal of any lynching caricature, imo.

What do you think? That there are no thoughtless, stupid nuts on every side in a country of 300 million? There always will be. That doesn't mean you have to hold it forth as some sort of norm. Obama in a noose was not a norm any more than that dipshit comedian holding Trump's head. They are outliers, the actions of deranged people, of which we have a few on both sides. When they flare up, we need to stamp them out, which we do a pretty good job of doing, while balancing with free speech, imo.
Well said. Sometimes I wish he’d put his cell down too, but an honest lib would admit that he’s doing things that many of us talked about for decades. We’ve often bitched about the US’s oversized and unduly unfair burden, and how many wealthy, western countries who are supposed to be our friends, are screwing us. Likewise, we also wondered aloud why we worried so much what Canada, Mexico and China would do if we ever drew the line. Well, we finally have a guy who’s willing to do it. If you think he can fix NATO, the UN and trade overnight, you’re crazy. There’s going to be some bumps, to be sure, but in the long run he is doing exactly what needs to be done. The lefties who have grown to enjoy our luxurious lifestyle are just gonna have to deal with it for a little while until things get straightened out. It’s called sacrifice. Our forefathers did it, and it is also the same theory underpinning the concept of doing something now that will benefit us all in the future, like saving for retirement, which seems to be a foreign thought to many liberals who spend all their money on gadgets and trinkets instead of saving for the future.
Notice that mr. Big never answers post like mine above where I asked him if Trumps policies where doing good things. He will ignore because to answer honestly he can't continue with the lib and media talking points. SMH, he can't see he is just a zombie to a party that has held black Americans back. We are a century and a half away from the civil war, yet many in the black community are still locked in poverty and dependence on the govt largely due to being enslaved to the dim party.
