@RightAway. There is zero doubt he murdered her, and the evidence supports that. I don't even think the defense is really denying that. The motions to suppress evidence came across as the defense throwing crap against the wall and hoping it stuck, because they have absolutely no chance in this trial. Their only hope is getting the most damning evidence excluded.
I will say I'm shocked the judge denied the change of venue though. You two obviously know way more about how trials and appeals work than I do (I'm just a lowly police officer after all lol), but that seems like an unforced error by the judge that could come back to bite him in the appeal process.
