Not sure what to make of this. Idolatry is making the their party or candidate into God's party or man. It's having the idea that this is God's will or God is going to save us all through this person. This has been going on for years with evangelicals and it is stronger with Trump than any candidate before him. Democrats rarely bring God into it.

The last thing Trump wanted on J6 was violence. He wanted Pence to send back to the states that had serious questions as to fraud. This is allowed under the constitution and was set up for a reason. The states would then have until the 20th to reevaluate and determine if how they were going to vote. Violence prevented this from happening.
