There are certain times no matter what your political leanings are that you toe the line. He didn’t. Should have been gracious even to the loudest protestors. He wasn’t.
And under no circumstances should he have even tried to counter the illegal immigrant anger with a statistic. A meaningless one at that given that no matter what the crime percentage of illegals it misses the point. The fact that they shouldn’t be here at all is the defining point and by definition would have prevented any crime. Effectively a zero crime rate for a would be illegal who was never granted asylum or released after a crime.
. And then invoke Trump in 2019? Idiot gets exactly what he deserves.

He was elected on a progressive platform. Twice. He effectively made Athens a sanctuary city and everyone knew it yet they still voted for him. It is sad that it takes tragedy for people to realize that the rule of law is important. Sometimes “Atlas Shrugged” seems too real.
