He is taking money from others that are willingly donating in order to pay for legal expenses that are a direct result of his opponent's desire to keep him from representing his constituency. It's okay to hate Trump but let's not pretend that prog orgs aren't funding pols that will use the legal system as a weapon to crush anyone that threatens their agenda.
This NYC case is arguably the most aggregious case of a government taking in United States history. No jury. Just a democrat politician in DA's clothing and a Democrat judge telling a private citizen they must fork over a half billion of their own money just to get to appeal. No damaged party. Just a pure political persecution. Even Trump haters are throwing their hands up at this situation, as everyone should. Not one legal expert will go on record defending this circus.

He also left millions of dollars (military equipment) in Afghanistan. This was a brilliant move, the Taliban was very happy about that botched decision.
