Looks like a assassination. Somebody got screwed over by UHC or just hates rich people period. Fled on. Bicycle...was just there waiting on him.Unless they get better footage or someone turns the suspect in, doubt they catch this guy.
My bet is some family member that got denied coverage. More sinister plot would be a hired hit by an insurance competitor or UHS inside job.Looks like an assassination. Somebody got screwed over by UHC or just hates rich people period. Fled on. Bicycle...was just there waiting on him.
I bet he's in custody within a day.Unless they get better footage or someone turns the suspect in, doubt they catch this guy.
Certainly possible.Looks like an assassination. Somebody got screwed over by UHC or just hates rich people period. Fled on. Bicycle...was just there waiting on him.
Health “insurance” isn’t insurance. Can remember when I didn’t pay a nickel for full coverage (company). Now it’s half and the company takes care of the rest……and the half is still WAY too much.
Life & health insurance is FOCKED!

Two different types of insurance….and I pay 1 company. They provide coverage for both life and medical expenses.Health “insurance” isn’t insurance.
I wasn’t necessarily responding to your specific comment. I was just pointing out in general that health “insurance” isn’t actually insurance and has caused many issues in America’s healthcare system. Per the definition of “insurance,” its purpose is to pay for unexpected events. Health “insurance” covers a ton of expected events and often events caused by willful negligence. Two different types of insurance….and I pay 1 company. They provide coverage for both life and medical expenses.
What am I missing??
I unfortunately sold and serviced it for over 25 years....mostly group. I felt like the grim reaper at renewal time and still have PTSD. 2nd highest line item on budgets next to salaries. All carriers suck...you are just a name and policy numberCertainly possible.

Meh. That breach was at Change Healthcare which is a subsidiary of UHG. It wasn't really a breach of UHG or it's network/data. Change hasn't yet been integrated with UHG.
Good points. The wife did interviews hours after her husband and the father of her children was murdered in cold blood. She cited vague threats and even speculated on motive of those threats.
Really, really odd behavior. The wife would also be one of a very, very small number of people who would know where he was staying and where he was going at a specific time.
The gunman was on his cell phone just minutes before this hit job. Someone was telling him this guy's movements. They'll find this shooter because the number of people who were privy to his itinerary and movements in those moments is going to be less than five.
hmm, not getting the reference immediatelyShell casings had ‘deny’, ‘defend’, ‘depose’ written on them…
Insurance terms.hmm, not getting the reference immediately
hmm, interesting.....red herring I ASSumeInsurance terms.
Apparently there's a book that has those words in the title.Insurance terms.
And were apparently subsonic rounds. This is why the shooter had to hand-cycle his handgun multiple times, which did not seem to bother him at all. If that guy was an amateur, he did a hell of a lot of research, got access to some task-specific tools and was cool as a cucumber. I suspect he was a pro.Shell casings had ‘deny’, ‘defend’, ‘depose’ written on them…
Heard an expert say it looked like a WWII era pistol that had to be racked between rounds and was also very quite. He actually called the shooter a semi pro because he was completely comfortable and familiar with his weapon but said he did a couple of things that lead him to believe the shooter wasn't a trained assassin. And were apparently subsonic rounds. Very interesting. I also couldn't place the pistol.Heard an expert say it looked like a WWII era pistol that had to be racked between rounds and was also very quite. DM me for details… we’re hiring…Very interesting. I also couldn't place the pistol.
I wonder what the life of a semi-pro assassin looks like.
I took semi pro to mean someone with extensive firearm knowledge and training but didn't answer @1 800 SHOOTEM. I did find a video about the gun and it looks similar.Very interesting. I also couldn't place the pistol.

This is getting more and more interesting.Welrod Pistol
"I’d bet my pension that this is the weapon that was used on the United CEO. It’s very, very quiet and requires manual cycling after each round is fired. Top choice by pros for up-close, quiet work," the source told Fox News.

Here's an interesting thread on the topic. I'm skeptical that it was a Welrod pistol, but I'm definitely not an expert.Welrod Pistol

Also made in 9mm.Wiki says the Welrod is chambered for .32ACP. The CEO's wounds were in and out. Not sure if a .32 could do that.
They can digitally enhance that camera shot to better confirm what gun was used..Here's an interesting thread on the topic. I'm skeptical that it was a Welrod pistol, but I'm definitely not an expert.
It wouldn't make sense to use such a rare gun unless you didn't care about it being traceable. Here's an interesting thread on the topic. I'm skeptical that it was a Welrod pistol, but I'm definitely not an expert.
This guy has opinions. Not a Welrod and not a pro.It wouldn't make sense to use such a rare gun unless you didn't care about it being traceable.
Bingo. They've already traced him back 10 days when he arrived in NYC by bus.I will bet large amounts of American money that the police know WHO he is.
They are now trying to figure out WHERE he is.
Got a good mug of him. They probably know who it is by now.I saw pictures of him yucking it up in the Starbucks. Looks like he was very sloppy. He was naive to think cameras were not going to be everywhere.
