I wasn’t necessarily responding to your specific comment. I was just pointing out in general that health “insurance” isn’t actually insurance and has caused many issues in America’s healthcare system. Per the definition of “insurance,” its purpose is to pay for unexpected events. Health “insurance” covers a ton of expected events and often events caused by willful negligence.

Yep...I remember when I sold coverage without maternity coverage and routine wellness coverage wasn’t covered at all either.

Not sure about that. The dude came from a wealthy background and gave it all up for a blow against The Man (his narrative, not mine). He might be a hero amongst the population in the hoosgow. Just look at how much praise he is getting from the broader public.
