What is the cooler like a Yeti but cheaper. Is it any good?***

Where do people go for days with no access to ice?

My igloo works fine and I can buy ICE cheap.

Camping in the mountains, fishing out in the hot sun and because

By god, it's the best.

LOL, two bags of ice will last all day in my igloo playmate...

And you're arse isn't sitting in the hot sun anywhere for long. :)

People are insecure - got to keep up or have better than ..

their friends or they are miserable. More power to 'em if they want to spend all that jack on a freakin' cooler. It's their money.

I do have a Yeti Tumbler coffee mug that is jam up. Coffee

is hot at 6am and fairly warm at 11 am. I have not unloaded the $$$$ on a cooler just yet. My neighbor has one and lets me borrow it when I take my hunting trips. The Brute coolers are supposed to be comparable and better in price...I think.

I have a buddy that produces an outdoor TV show who said he could

get me one very cheap. Think Brute is correct.

I'd Google Sasquatch Cooler and see what pops up.*

You may be correct but they do work. If I was on a hunting

trip, a farmer with field laborers, or an alcoholic I would have one with me.

Nah...I can't do it

Was going to REFER you to a link and try to DROP you into CowboyFrank. Can't do it...

This old Rubbermaid we had on the fire engine kept ice in it 2 days sitting in the sun on top of the engine in 120 degree heat on a detail to Needles, Cailfornia

Re: Thanks, where is Jaman?***

He says he's on the blacklist. Dasher denies it...tryna figure it out...

Reminds me of STACE's Bogfoot-In-A-North-Georgia-Freezer hoax circa 2008.

The Chats was stunned when truth came out.

Re: I guess I'm too rough on them. Mine crack and get broken hinges easily***

The old rubbermaids gave us pretty good service and they literally got the hell beat out of them or worse.

Bogfoot™ cemented place in Chat lore alongside beefcow.*

My emotions are still trying to recover from that one. I knew I was going to get confirmation that squach was real and then I was crushed when it turned out to be a hoax. I'm not going to lie to you...a part of me died that day. I've still yet to learn how to trust again.

Coleman Xtreme Marine - better reviews than a YETI

I bought one on amazon for $90. It has been awesome so far...

I do not disagree. I do not own one. Just a coffee mug

tumbler ($30)....but if I had more money than I could ever spend I would probably own one. At the moment I just borrow my neighbors.

Canecur...Part of me wishes authorities had never "dethawed" that beast and

did autopsy.

Part of me wanted to go on believing.

Even if it meant living a lie.

The old metal igloos were the best...sun will rot any plastic cooler..

I don't care what they say.

Local guy that sells Yetis told me the Yeti really won't keep ice...

a whole lot longer than an Igloo Marine or other good cooler but it will last pretty much forever. The problem with coolers is not the insulating ability, it's the opening of them. I have an Igloo Marine cooler in my boat. If I don't open it much, it will keep ice for about three days in the Summer. Unfortunately, when I'm on the boat, I open it a lot to get beer out so ice lasts about a day and a half. Yetis are about the same but if you don't open them, they will keep ice for 4 or 5 days.

I like the Yetis and the other high end coolers, but I can't make myself spend the money to buy one that will fit the spot in the boat where my Igloo is. I also don't want to have to worry about my cooler being stolen while the boat is tied at the dock overnight. Cooler theft is becoming an issue on lakes and around the coast.

I wouldn't buy one but the guy says he can get a clone cheap for me

I think they advertise on his outdoor TV program.

Igloo makes one called a Yukon and Engel makes a look alike that...

is very good and cheaper than Yeti. I have the same issue with the sun and mine. I have a cushion on the top of it that helps a lot.
