Bongino is a conspiracy-spouting clown. The Deputy Director is the person who runs the day to day operations of the Bureau and he’s going to be an utter and very public disaster.
I have to thank Trump for every appointment like this. It removes plausible deniability for the GOP in Congress and those in the courts inclined to pave the way for the breakdown of our Constitutional order.
We’ve already seen GOP pushback on the scandalous lies about Ukraine. Prices are up, DOGE has a team a tech bros shredding important programs that people care about, our sixty year alliance with Europe has been destroyed in thirty days, Canada is rightfully hostile to the 51s state rhetoric and Trump already has the worst polling numbers of any President thirty days in to a presidency.
It’s not sustainable, and putting a deranged idiot like Bongino in at such an important role will only highlight the utter lack of interest in governing shown by the administration.
