Fed employees are fired every day for normal reasons analogous with those let go in the private sector. I let 3 go last year. They deserved it. I still spent time following protocols necessary to do so.

What is happening with DOGE is equivalent to having Elon declare UGA’s football program is bloated and full of corruption, so we are going to make Jere and Kirby accept the release of 10%of our recent signing class or the youngest player at each position to start. Then we’ll go to work laying off the most junior staff members. We are going to do it by email and tell them it’s because they suck. And then I’m gonna send an email to remaining players and tell them to send me copies of their offseason workout accomplishments while I download their workout data from last season. It’s idiotic and UGA leadership wouldn’t allow it.
