All of these idiotic tax credit incentives have got to go and stop warping investment decisions. I am in the commercial insurance business and last week I saw a company that was looking for liability coverage. The
business is called "passive carbon capture".
What is "passive carbon capture"? It is nothing more than a tax credit for owning forest land and not harvesting the timber - thus not releasing CO2 into the atmosphere....
So, more BS Green Deal from the government, that is nothing more than an incentive for rich guys to buy land solely for the tax credits they will earn.
Idiotic.
