Maybe the game delay has a lot to do with it? One thing is certain: we have a lot of work to do this off season. Kirby was yelling you can’t do that. Didn’t they break huddle, lineup to punt and then all run off and the offense runs on. Can you do that? Announcers didn’t address it but Kirby was yelling in the refs ear on the sideline about it.

Back at the hotel and trying to keep some perspective. I'm as frustrated with that game, our coaches, and our execution as anyone. But I'm damn thankful to have been there and be able to be frustrated in that stadium. I love this crazy dumb sport and everything it gives us: from the incredible highs to the lows like tonight. And last night made that feel fragile and fleeting. He tried to take something from us. He unfortunately took many precious lives. But he failed to take today from us.

I got a little emotional walking into the stadium. I'll try not to take the privilege and joy of watching my team for granted again. And will look forward to being back here with all y'all next year.

I understand Kirby's not supposed to be told how to run his program, but if these guys feel tired of being shaken down for NIL cash do they at least get to voice their concerns when they see Richt's mediocrity walking back in the door with Searels and Bobo?

I'd have a "with all due respect" conversation with Josh Brooks at a minimum if I'm being asked to pony up large sums.

This was the exact same team for fourteen straight games. Never really got better

Impressive throws. He definitely missed some but he made more than he missed and put us in situations to succeed.

At some point, CKS is gonna have to ask is this acceptable. Is this going to remain the standard. Adapt or get left behind is the name of the game. He has eventually done so, but is often slow in doing so. I have no doubt much of this season has driven him nuts. My only hope is that he is able have the perspective to see what needs to be done.

I'm grateful we won the SECC this year. With this team and staff, that was no small feat. Moving forward though, in this new NIL era and with this playoff system, what we have and what we have been trending toward is not good if we hope to truly compete for another championship. Time for some changes. Gonna be an interesting off season.

The o line play was as bad as I've seen since kirby has been here. The o line was finally healthy. We had 3 weeks to practice and prepare. Honestly the blocking was so bad I don't think we could have beat a really good team with anyone calling the plays. Everything on offense starts with the line. JMO we need to get this fixed.

I feel like I saw where Bobo would be stepping aside at the end of the season somewhere.

I ended it by saying that Notre Dame is propped up by a bad schedule and a TV deal each year and have not had won a game of significance in my lifetime

Our OC had no idea how to handle an aggressive defense. He shelled up into his comfort zone and called a pass play behind the LOS with a minute left down by two scores. Even the TV guys couldn’t understand it. Surely Kirby is wondering what’s going on. Early we had success throwing downfield, whether it was PI or a nice catch and we never went to back that. Instead we had no game plan. It looked like a little league coach calling plays off of his home made play sheet. Just baffling.

Forced us to be much more aggressive than we otherwise would have been…trips to the red zone end in points and it’s still likely a 1 possession game in the 4th qtr.

Such a big difference between being down 10 and being down 17…

They had 1 trip to the red zone and not was on a turnover and other than the KO return, they only had one offensive td.

I’m not one to call for the coaches but the offense is in shambles. Bobo has served a purpose but we are too proud of a program to not go and hire the best offensive mind available. Coaching continuity only goes so far in today’s college football. The plays are the same and the whole country knows them.

Some folks need to stop dunking on Gunner for not being good enough to win. If we had an OL that could block and receivers that could catch, we would have won today. Brady would have lost today with this team.

For Pete’s sake… we had the most damn drops in FBS this season. How is that possible at Georgia?!?!

Not crowning Gunner tonight as the the starting qb for eliminating the possibility that Gunner will win the job.

I am for bringing in someone from the portal and opening it all up. As others have pointed out, Pugs has a high ceiling and Rashada was once very highly touted.

I think we will have a real open competition that may not be decided before August.

Going down as one of my all time favorite Dawgs! The energy, passion, and leadership this dude brought everyday was fun to watch. Not to mention he’s an even better person off the field. DGD
