UPDATE GHSA State Football Championships - Day 1

It's state championship time in Georgia!

The GHSA state football championships get started today in Atlanta and run through Wednesday. Lance and I will be on the scene all week to see loads of Georgia targets and signees.

The festivities kickoff today at 4:00 with the A-Division II title game between Bowdon and Brooks County. Bowdon features 2026 priority target Kaiden Prothro, the No. 2 tight end in the 2026 class. Brooks County, meanwhile, has 2027 Rivals100 athlete George Lamons leading the way. Georgia is recruiting Lamons as a receiver/tight end.

Pyburn held Slingblade and Florida ransom for $ and playing time and hes now at LSU

this is the crap that people are getting tired of. There's threads everywhere on this, fans are extremely pissed at the way this whole thing is going. I dont feel sorry for FL, but this is becoming the norm, nobody gives a crap about the team they are playing for, the heritage, history the school etc.

I do appreciate this years team for how they bought in and kept fighting, I hope we win the NC just to be able to showcase a team that seemed to care about the G on their helmet and their coaches and teammates.

Dawgs in the Pros Top Dawgs in the NFL include Wyatt’s spin and sack, Nolan Smith is everywhere, and Cook is on fire.

Looks like of the eight guys mentioned in the piece for their NFL performances yesterday, all eight of them were members of the 2021 national championship squad. An all-timer.
