Identity established?

We aren’t the back to back dominating national champs we were a couple years ago. But did we establish an identity tonight. A flawed team that when the chips are all in, pulls out the royal flush. The every man’s team that doesn’t always live up to all expectations but shows up when the lights are the brightest. A team that finds a way, a team that will struggle and may fail. But a team that doesn’t quit, a team that says fU to all the naysayers and rallies around each other. We may not go all the way, but in a way these are my type of dawgs!

Are we the only team that has beaten two top 10 teams?

I may be wrong, but I think that is correct.

One at neutral site and one on the road. Impressive.

Man, is my 62 year old ass hungover. I'm heading here for brunch in just a bit, and grabbing an Expresso martini hair of the Dawg remedy.

Who put PCP and Nuclear Creatine in Jalon Walker’s pre-workout juice mix?

Because I think whoever it was doing the same to #13. Daylen Everette might have had a lil’ angel dust in his Gatorade bottle too.

Texas’ LT looked me trying to stop a piano rolling down the driveway.

Walker gets 3 sacks in the first half. Plus a FR.
Mykel gets 2 and a FF
Everette 1sack, FF, FR, and an Int.

Game was WAY Up there on my list of badass D performances somewhere close to Tra Battle’s 3 ints vs Auburn and Jarvis Jones destruction of Mizzou and UF. I don’t know if he was 100% 2nd half.

It was so nice to see some big time plays being made.

The NCAA should make a quick rule change

They did it in record speed about Oregon’s 12 man defense last week.

The new rule, if a penalty has been announced and the ball marked ready for play, the penalty can no longer be reversed. This will keep fans from throwing garbage on the field or a player suddenly faking an injury to buy time for the officials to watch the replay on the Jumbotron 10 times and reverse themselves.

Call reversal was a blessing in disguise

Best thing that could have happened for us. At the time it pissed me off to no end, but in hindsight Texas cant play the “what if” card and claim they were robbed. We had to rise to the occasion and overcome adversity and left no doubt on who won. Kirby is fired up. The fans are fired up. There should be a monster chip on this team’s shoulder moving forward. Run the table and leave no doubt, GATA!

Kirby made a bad decision to go for it on fourth…..

down late in the game. It gave Texas a very short field; the way our defense was playing, especially number 11 and number 13, punting in that situation is the right call every time; make Texas go the long route for the score and use up most of the two minutes left in the game. I’m sure Kirby learned from that.

What happened on the kickoff that was a squib kick? It didn’t look like a called onside kick.

Let’s compare the PI reversal to call reversals in other sports.

Umpire calls out the batter on strike three. Next batter gets s announced and comes to the plate. Crowd boos and throws things on the field. Umpire calls time and confers with the referee crew and then announces he was wrong on strike three and awards the first batter first base.

That has NEVER happened.
