A year ago yesterday, we lost my dad (RoyalCobra) to his battle with cancer. So my mom, my sister and I are going to the game tomorrow to celebrate him and his memory.

It’s the first Georgia game for my mom and sister and only my second one I have gone to, so if anyone has any gameday recs, please pass those on. I appreciate it!

There was a 3rd down play in the tech game last night in which the receiver caught the ball as he was coming back toward the qb. The catch was just past the sticks but his momentum carried him out of bounds INSIDE the sticks. It was initially called short but they gave it to them on replay. I thought if you retreated without being pushed back then you give up “forward progress.”

For the school on north ave to be an engineering school, their stadium is the worst designed stadium imaginable. I hate going to that stadium. Besides eating Antico before the game, that’s the only perk of going to that dump.

A lot of talk on this board over the summer about how Ohio State and Bama were so far ahead of us in recruiting and how we couldn’t keep up due to NIL. Well, this week Bama has suffered two big decommitments and has fallen to #6 in the team rankings. Will be interested to see how Deboer closes in his first cycle because recruiting in the SEC definitely isn’t like the PAC-12.

Oh and of course we are now #2 with multiple big fish (and likely some favorable re-rankings) still coming..
