Question About Tailgating At Clark Howell Hall

Can you tailgate at Clark Howell Hall or is it for parking only on gamedays?

Long story short, my Dad is 81 with dimentia and my mom is 71 and just had a hip replacement recently. I promised my Dad to take him to one game a year and we are going to the Tech game. I have secured a parking pass to Clark Howell for the Tech game since it would be the shortest walking distance for them to the stadium.

Since the game is late I would like to tailgate there for several hours but I read a post on here from a few years ago that said Clark Howell is for parking only and no tailgating is allowed. Is this true? Thanks for any help ya'll can offer.

That mudering mofo is about to get the book thrown at him

Just watched the latest news segment on the Laken Riley murder trial. I'm glad they went with a bench trial because it's going to be over so much more quickly, and I can't wait to hear what the judge is going to say.

It's just tragic beyond words. The creep was scoping out an entire apartment complex for victims; if it hadn't been Laken, it would have been someone else.

Give him life in prison; it's cheaper than the death penalty believe it or not. And with a little luck, someone on the inside will dispatch his sorry aźz.

Hypothetically, let’s say we end up playing Ole Miss in Oxford in the playoffs

What do y’all think that looks like?

I say advantage us, we played uncharacteristically bad in many areas against them, areas that we improved upon drastically against Tennessee. Obviously our game plan would be different, but so would Ole Miss. it’s hard to beat a team twice though, I look at it like 2017 Auburn situation. Got smacked, and then dominated them a few weeks later. Neutral field in the second matchup I know.

Saturday was my first game seeing beer being sold in Sanford Stadium......

I like beer but I dont care to drink it in a stadium, dont need it and dont care to spend a fortune on it. I really didnt care one way or the other whether they did or not give it the green light but after seeing it at a night game I will give my thoughts.

After Saturday night I would prefer it if they didnt have it. The lines to pee seem to be longer now because of the drinking and theres only one bathroom on the South side and the line was so ridiculous at half time I just decided I would hold my pee the whole second half.

It seems that getting more beer is a massive priority of the fans over pretty much anything, my dad and I have an isle seat (seats 1 and 2) in Section 128 and people were just constantly going to get more beer, so we constantly had to move for them...super annoying. I also noticed that people were carrying 2 and 3 beers not for others but for themselves, lots of double fisting going on.

I watched a really pretty young lady who barely looked old enough to drink, drink the entire game, she went from looking hot to looking haggard by the end of the game and could barely talk. Alcohol just makes dumb fans more dumb. The guy in front of us came in 30 min early and he seemed to be a UGA alumni, he could barely talk had a beer in each hand, his wife was a Tennessee fan, and she seemed be quite embarrassed by him, she was smoking hot though so I guess it was worth it for him marrying a Tenn fan lol.

One of the dudes on our row started trying to get out and was sweating like he was coked out or about to puke from being too drunk, he looked awful and all the people around me were aware of how bad he looked, then he was in and out of the row 3 or 4 times the rest of the night to eat and "sober up".

Lastly and this doesn't have to do with beer but 4 rows down a dude was vaping weed, smelled awful.

Forgive me for sounding like an olde but I prefer there be no alcohol sales in the stadium and people just do what they always did and bring in their airplane bottles for big games and that be it.

Re-rank the CFP

The order is who you LEAST want to play is the highest-ranked:
  1. Alabama (we just can't beat them)
  2. Ole Miss (they gave us an ass-whooping. Powerful offense, elite DL)
  3. Oregon (good roster. good QB. good system)
  4. Ohio State (top players all over their roster - the OL injuries and mediocre QB change that)
  5. Texas (really good roster. elite play caller. unlikely we replicate the offensive performance we saw in Austin)
  6. South Carolina (they've got dudes on their roster. playing for good football. could/should be a 1-loss team - almost beat LSU & Bama in OT)
  7. Texas A&M (talented roster. mobile QB. currently top SEC team. Elko is a good coach. anything can happen)
  8. Miami (when you've got a QB, you've got a chance.)
  9. SMU (they've got a lot of speed)
  10. Clemson (seems like they've put some things together since our game. QB playing well. still good players on D)
  11. ND (I don't think they're very good, but they've got a decent run game & defense - they could ugly up a game)
  12. Tennessee (we've owned that system, but Nico is a good QB, they can hit some shots. their D was top-5 when they don't play us)
  13. Indiana / PSU (don't scare me at all)

Cowherd made a good point on the CFP as it sits….

12/20 weather at home stadiums. If Penn St /tOSU / ND or Indiana get the host spot, SEC teams will be traveling into areas well below freezing at that point. Athens and Tuscaloosa wouldn’t be tropical by any means, but would be 10 to 20 degrees warmer and at home if the tables were turned.

I really get the feel this committee is setting the table to send SEC teams up north. Doing all they can to give the Big 10 an advantage. Oregon and TOSU could merge to form 1 team and wouldn’t beat UGA in Athens in a home playoff game!
