Turnout for early voting

I live in a rural county in NE Ga and we started early voting today. I’ve never voted early, always liked the feeling of voting on Election Day. To me it’s kind of like opening Christmas presents 3 weeks before 12/25.
But the wife and I decided to early vote this year, not sure why other than to make sure our vote was counted in case there’s some kind of issues on Nov 5.
When I got there at 9:30 the parking lot was full. I was voter 171 and an hour later the parking lot was still full. For my county of 25,000+ you can just sense an urgency and enthusiasm that hopefully is being felt nation wide.

What do you think the AVG SEC Fanbase hopes for in our Game against Texas?

Which team are SEC teams rooting for overall?

  • A) GOOO Dawgs (don't let these cowboys come in...rather have the devil I know)

    Votes: 11 52.4%
  • B) TX ...tired of the Dawgs or I am one of their main 6 rivals

    Votes: 10 47.6%
  • C) don't gas. ..my team is out or neither way is good

    Votes: 0 0.0%

Who do they want to win?

I mean I figure AUB, SC, Tenn, Fla all hope we burn in hell

But maybe some programs like Missouri, ark, ok, hate TX more

Then bama might want us to win, same with ole miss...maybe even Tenn despite their hate...

No idea about LSU , vandy and Miss st

What say you?

Good Morning Dawg Nation

We are one day closer to Texas. Getting my hopes up again and I'm fine with it. Win or not, I'm a Dawg fan and I love this team. If we don't pull off the upset, we will learn more and hopefully improve from it.

Hope you're feeling better @Iverwig and keeping @banjodawg lifted up as well. Still praying for all those affected by Helene and Milton. Ron, Cola, Lance, Melissa and you as well @brgodawgs

Y'all add Darryl, friend of @Panhandle Dawg to your prayer list, he's battling cancer and needs them.

Praying for all those on LDGMDNOPL
and all the GMDN gang too!

Happy Birthday/Anniversary if you're celebrating today 🎉🎉

Love you guys and gals, MEAN IT.....

Go Dawgs ❤️

Revisiting a preseason prediction....and Texas

Most people were saying we could probably lose 2 games and still be ok for the playoffs. Finebaum says Georgia could lose maybe 3. I don't know

I, like most people, problaby assumed that if we were to lose 2 games, it would be to either Bama (because of Milroe's athleticism and being in Tusky) or Texas (being in Austin against a talented team) or Ole Miss (Lane Kiffen with a defense) or Tennessee (next best team).

I stated back in August that if we lose two, it would be to Bama and Texas because that the two I most WOULDN'T want to lose and sometimes that crap happens to me. Most of you probably felt the same way. With this new and unprecedented freedom granted to us by the expanded playoff, we ought to be able to play loose and free on Saturday. Dang that jump ball at Bama with 40 seconds left and two timeouts...but I digress.

Ole Miss and Tennessee are looking less intimidating. I say that if we beat Texas we will make the playoffs barring catastrophic injury the rest of the way. If we lose, then we are probably up against it but not down and out.

You know what I do, against popular opinion?? I mess with Texas. All the time. I like the state, but there are way too many Texans in it. They brag about everyday life as if it was something exclusive to Texas...they brag about oil money that they did nothing to earn and don't own themselves....they brag about how good they are at cooking food over an open flame, as if cave men didn't exist. They'll look you in the eyes and tell you that cheerios made in Texas, for some reason, taste better than cheerios made in other states....which is a claim I have never heard but expect to hear one day. It's a good state, but good is about it. No place like Texas? To be honest, I prefer Oklahoma. It's Texas without the pretense. I made a prediction to a colleague who is a Texas Tech man that Georgia would beat Texas by 17 points. Granted, that was before I witnessed suboptimal football the last two weeks. I had a chance to back pedal today, but I only qualified to say by double digits. This is Beck's team. Either he is a 1st round pick worth the money and Lambo and the instragram model with the nice butt, or he isn't. Time to let it rip, and know that even if it falls apart we aren't finished yet.

Kamala Harris a plagiarist

She is such a deceitful person on every level.

Give me a must stop place to eat on I-75 stretch 30 +/- miles north/south of Macon for our JAX trip this year

We are planning our annual week long trip to JAX this year. I live in NWGA and our lunch stop on the way down to JAX is usually somewhere around Macon. We typically stop at the Buccees down there and get a brisket sandwich but we want to start hitting some good local hole-in-the-wall joints this year. I know the Dawgvent has to know some good spots. I will hang up and listen.

So far...per FPI...we have had 7th hardest schedule and 2ND hardest left.....meanwhile

Texas 82nd weakest so far. And 9th easiest.

Going fwd probably because they play us they have the 9th hardest left.

Yet people wonder why we don't have top 5 stats.

As Donnan pointed out...Tenn avgs over 40 a game.

But three sec games around 20 or less.

Going to be two fairly even teams. They likely have the advantage of home field, a season with more time to play around with things and hold things back and in some ways a mulligan.

We have the advantage of knowing what it takes and what won't be enough. We also should be the more desperate team.

But this schedule of ours is silly as compared to others. The attrition is taking it's toll.

If you listen or read what any of the Texas writers or fans have said about the game this Saturday

We my as well not even show up Saturday night. They are the perfect team. Zero flaws. Better at every single position. They could beat the Kansas City Chiefs.

Man I thought Bama fans were the cockiest fanbase ever. But at least they have earned it. Nothing would make me happier than to shut these people up Saturday night

Secondary

we rip on Everette and Humphrey and kid from miami. Numerous times in this game Starks is to blame. He’s a great athlete no doubt and he’s made some plays but he cost those busted coverages he’s help over the top and he made bad decisions.

These guys just aren’t playing with good instincts at all.

Hopefully they can learn from all these mistakes. Cause you see plays in first half that their QB could have taken advantage of. Their coaching staff comes back to those very same plays later in the game and they expose us.

Gotta clean this stuff up.
