My $.02

1. ND isn't GT. They don't run a glorified option attack, and we aren't playing this game on six days rest. The QBs are both mobile, the comparison ends there

2. We are built to beat up on QBs who only do one thing well.

3. I keep reading about how Gunner might not be able to pass, but how is Leonard going to pass on us? He's not a great passer, we have a serviceable secondary at a minimum, and we have a better pass rush than any team they faced all year. By a longshot. Passing games are decided way more at the line of scrimmage than in the secondary unless you have a brutal secondary, and we don't. Ask Indiana. We have a decided advantage on the D-line/edge.

Gunner isn't as good at passing as Beck, but he will pass better than Leonard does today. Dawgs by a billion. F the sharps.

ESPN pregame talk is sickening

You’d think Gunner was a pop warner QB with how they’re talking about him needing to lean on the punter and “he won’t win the game but he can lose it.”

Also labeled it as “Mike Tyson vs Mike Tyson.” I’m sorry, don’t you actually have to win something eventually to be given that label? ND might have been Tyson 3 decades ago. Since then, they’ve been propped up as a big brand but always crap the bed on the big stage.

SEC Network coverage seemed pretty good, though.
