Interesting in-state matchup tonight between Kennesaw State and Georgia State

Kennesaw State 7-3 81 Georgia State 4-5 77

Antoine Pettway in his second year taking over for the late Abdur-Rahim has a dynamic backcourt with Cottle snd Wooley a freshman star in the making. Also freshman Lue from Georgia is a rebounding machine.

Georgia State under Jonas Hayes is a slow build after Rob Lanier.

4-5

I’m sure neither school as a mid-major is awash in NIL money, but it seems in terms of local HS talent Kennesaw State is ahead of the game, the question is can you sustain that yearly when the P5’s go after a Wooley or Lue. If you can keep getting good freshmen on a one to two year basis then, yes.

Georgia State seems to skew older…

Now with even more horns...down

Once again I resisted the urge to cook a brisket... Well truthfully I looked for one but the ones I found were trash and way overpriced...so I went with a Texican direction.

Barbacoa Tacos

Chili Pie

Jalapeño wings

Queso Dip

Boiled Peanuts

Nattys and Tropis

Brown liquor for the Win

Who’s left

Jumping ahead a little . With the previous Nitro possibly portaling Monday thread . How many players do we lose before the playoffs even start ? Do we go in with 60 players available, half our backups gone ? Players who portal in aren’t immediately eligible, they can’t be replaced. Hate the way this works . Imo they should wait until after the natty before portal opens .

Today

Right now, thousands of UGA football fans are gearing up for a “battle” this afternoon against Texas. We are busily prepping food and drink, heading to a tailgate, or preparing infinite other pregame rituals..

Right now, 83 years ago, 2300 U.S. servicemen were sleeping thru their last nite on earth.

In about 7 hours, we will be barking and chanting Go Dawgs!!!

In about 7 hours, 83 years ago, the trajectory of our country and our world, was forever changing..

I can’t imagine not being a Bulldawg. But I thank God every day that I am an American…

Go Dogs! And God bless our troops and all those that sacrificed so that today, the most important “war” Georgia fans will be worried about is the one on the football field with Texas.
