I'm not normally this dude, but come on, Pate.

"I think Texas is peaking at the right time, and Georgia isn't."

Georgia beat #7 two weeks ago, scoring 31 on a team that hadn't yielded more than 20 all season. Now go and look at Texas's results since we beat them. Not exactly setting the world on fire. Everyone expects us (and Beck in particular) to play the same or worse than the first matchup, while Texas will be infinitely better. "YOU HAVE TO DISCOUNT THE RESULTS OF THE FIRST GAME BECAUSE IT WAS A FLUKE!!!! (Except when Texas played better in the 2nd half because that was real)."

The narrative has been all week that Georgia is a poverty-ass program and Texas could beat the 1978 Pittsburgh Steelers. F that.

End of rant.

What happened to secondary market SECC game ticket costs?

Historically SECC tix have been very costly for us - frequently more than we would pay for the playoff game. This year it seems they are face value or slightly above - especially upper deck. I thought the Texas fans would be buying them up since it’s an opportunity to win their first title in their first year in the SEC.
And, no, I am not a broker. But we did buy 6 tix on the Texas side by mistake (and over paid) and now can’t resell them for much above face.
Just curious what is missing that usually drives this market?
Good news for those of you that want to go and thought it would cost too much - come on out and see our Dawgs beat Texas for less than $200/seat.
