I guess this is beating a dead horse but I came into the season feeling like we had made the right moves to have a strong WR group and before Rara screwed up we certainly looked strong there. However a closer look tells a much different story at the position. First of all while we recruited some talent at the position during our run, we failed to bring in guys with character and they portaled out to rivals etc. We have failed so bad in recruiting wr recently that we are relying on portal players who do not share the culture that we have here. Despite our efforts to plug in the holes we have at the position we still dont have an elite WR on the team. Now we are about to lose another important part of the wr group and will have to try to plug up that hole with a lesser talent. We cannot be an elite program if this continues.
