Great commentary on Polling and agendas........

cant find it now to link it but here are the cliffs

1. Done on Megan Kelley show by Cahaley, he is in partnership with Towery
2. They are conservative internal polling specialist
3. Polling done in mid January showing Biden down in all swing states , some near double digits was agenda driven with liberals trying to push Biden out of race
4. These same pollsters are showing Biden closing in the swing states trying to give Biden a bump and give him momentum
5. Their polls (Towry/ Cahaley) have been very consistent, showing Trump up 2% to 4% with little change but within the margin of error with 10% or so in undecideds
6. Kennedy helps Trump, in fact only way Trump wins is Kennedy pulling 2% or so in several of these swing states. They feel Kennedy will pull more than 2%, he has the financing and independents and several groups that voted for Biden want to vote for someone else.
7. Kennedy's pick of VP only strengthens his financing and recognition among liberals (seem Michigan and protest vote)
8. Biden and Trump both have potential bombshells that will hurt them (crime, economy, court trials, gaffs and related), Biden has slightly more risk than Trump. (Probably True but surprised me to hear it)
9. He did NOT mention the absentee voting in this conversation but has mentioned it before and its overall effect, they estimate it in the 2% range overall in a swing state.

To go further on item # 4, he says thats why you saw all the democrat strategist out there last week promoting the polling data, trying to build momentum. Perhaps nothing really outlandish but interesting information to me.......

Insider Note A few quick notes on Terry and Gibson

- First off, I will say that five-star defensive lineman Justus Terry committing to USC did catch me off guard a bit. I speak with the people around him a good bit and a flip was not on the agenda before heading out west this weekend. I have said many times I expect Terry to sign with the Bulldogs. After speaking with sources last night, I am removing the commitment but not removing him from the class prediction. Georgia was in contact several times yesterday with Terry, his family and others. I am also told the Bulldogs staff has a lot of confidence that they can get him back in the fold. Just hold on to that. Remember, it is March.

- I believe the Isaiah Gibson commitment to USC was more of a shocker. Georgia really liked where it stood for the Rivals250 edge defender. Right now, that is more of a concern for the staff because that was completely out of left field and the communication has not been as much as it has been with Terry. Again, it is March and there is a LONG ways to go there but that one did catch a lot of people off guard.

Why March Madness will change in years to come ...

March Madness will bring in over a billion dollars in revenue this year. The conference that gets the biggest share will get ... drumroll, please ... $34 million dollars.

So, the conference getting the most money ... not the team, the conference ... will get less than 3.4% of the total revenue.

Despite only five of its teams receiving 2024 March Madness bids, the ACC will earn roughly $34 million from its success in this year’s men’s basketball tournament, more than any other conference.

So, the teams that actually generate all this money will get $152 million. Less than 15% of the revenue. When the SEC teams each get $23 million for the CFP revenue, it's only a matter of time before the teams start telling the NCAA they better come up with a different way of funding D2 and D3 sports, because once they have to pay the players they will be looking for every source of revenue they can find.

On the podcast with Tate Ratledge …

“He’s himself, he’s a funny guy, it’s enjoyable, it makes the podcast fun. We kind of sit there and just talk, there's a script of ideas we go over, but there is no set script that we have to talk about.. We just talk really and you forget the cameras are there.”

On the Ray Guy Award …

“It’s not something I actively go out and look into. The season is five-six months away, definitely not thinking about that or individual accolades. I have to focus on spring ball. We have four more practices, a scrimmage, then G day. That's my focus, and I know in May I get to go back to Australia and work more on my punting.”

On the competition at safety and how spring practice has gone so far…

I think it's been a great spring. Everybody has shown up to work every day and gotten after it. All age groups, everyone has been getting after it.

On coaching up the younger guys while also competing for playing time …

We’re not really worried about a depth chart right now. We’re all just trying to be the best that we can be as a group and work on communicating with each other. We’re all trying to learn right now, and that is what the spring is for.”

On any advice to the new receivers that just came in through the portal…

“Honestly those three guys are coming along great with the playbook. As far as a team runs and physicality goes, they're really bought in. I would honestly just tell them to enjoy it. Actually enjoy it whether it's the struggle or the good times or the bad times.”
