It’s Not Bobo

We can complain about Bobo all we want to, but the fact is that you can’t run an offense under constant defensive pressure. To me, our OL let us down (I can’t remember a time when we did less with more talent). Seareles is not the answer. He was not the first time that he was here and he is not now. I just hope Kirby sees that (and if I can see it, I know that he can). Everything starts with the OL.

Can we stop ...

Can we stop using the DGD designation for players, who were starters or significant contributors, that transfer from UGA? If a player busted his ass and it just didn't work out at UGA, I'm fine with people throwing out a "DGD". However, disgruntled players or guys just chasing money that leave UGA should never be referred to as a DGD. I don't care what they accomplished at UGA.

We will know by Friday, January 24, 2025 how Trump's presidency is going to go

If the Jan 6th Defendants are not all pardoned by that date, then Trump has learned nothing about power or about his enemies.

I am optimistic about Trump's upcoming rule but people need to understand it is the last opportunity to turn this car around, whether or not Trump pardons the Jan6 Defendants will be the sign as to whether the car is getting turned around or if we are just going to pull the car over at a rest stop before careening off the cliff in 2028.

UPDATE: 01/26 4:30pm I could use some prayers.

First I wanted to Thank all the Dawg brothers & sisters out on the UGA vent. I do fell the love.

Secondly. Update on my mother. I talked to Emory.
It seems they had issues with IVs coming out which is why there is massive bruising on her arms & hands at multiple spots (deep black/blue type bruising).
Another issues was during surgery. The way they were operating her body was not working well.
They had to put her on oxygen. At first they didn’t have to.
Another problem was the anesthesia. I guess it was her age. They were having issues.

Lastly @UpDawg? did create a gofundme. I appreciate taking the time and helping to run it as it shows accountability and everything. As some of you said. Accept it. Move on. Get back on the feet. Be a blessing to others once I get stable.

thank you all again.

To my Dawg Brothers & Sister
My apologies on this being kinda long.

Prayers would be much appreciated. We have several issues as a family. I’ve debated requesting these.

Firstly, My mother recently had surgery this past Friday. 72 years old. The surgery was only to be under 2 hours, but it went from 10am to 6pm. Than another 4-5 hours in recovery and to come home. We weren’t told anything but the surgery went great. She’s home Now. Extreme pain and soreness and lots of pills to take. They want to have another surgery in 2/3 weeks.

Secondly, lift my car in prayer. It died going to pick up my mother’s medication on Saturday. A auto guy told me it was an oil pump but Since it started right up I drove it right home and parked it. It ran today fine around the block. Gonna take it to my main auto guy to get it tested out this week. We really can’t afford another auto expense.

Thirdly, I have a herniated disc that is pressing into my major nerve, resulting in chronic pain throughout. I’ll have to have surgery eventually but having surgery anywhere on my back is kinda worrying me.

Fourthly, pray my wallet becomes full enough to cover the full amount of rent. As of right now It is officially late and still short ($998) but my logistics job hours was terrible and I live in a warehouse town and no one is hiring. I thought about a gofundme but I just can’t. I’m to prideful and I feel that’s for people really needing help.

Thank You Dawg Family for allowing me to bring/vent these requests to you. I feel at the end of my ropes because of the rent, health, and car problems.

Last thing for me, but the sideline warning….

I’ve been a player, a QB coach, an OC, a HC and a referee for many years….and I would be curious what @refdawg thinks, but when I was a sideline ref and a play of that magnitude…..I would’ve only thrown the flag if the sideline participant kept me from keeping my feet, distracting my eyes or my ability to see the play through to the end to make sure I could spot the ball, know whether I need to wind the clock or not, if the ball came out or there was a penalty at the very end of the play (facemask, etc.).

I didn’t think that any of that happened. Could he have been hurt - yes and the rule is there to protect the ref - was he hurt - no.

Worse/more dangerous contact with 39 and ref or our punter?

Now….before the others jump on me…..yes, 39 should’ve never been there, we had plenty of other chances to make up for that, this isn’t the reason we lost the game, etc.

I know. I’m just curious about other’s opinions on that flag.

NonDawg Blocker Could We Get a Winter Storm Update?

@Blocker57 could we get an update on this winter storm? I’ve been perusing the weather forums and it appears this thing may be dying out. Still the forecasts are predicting below freezing down here in SOWEGA but if I’m reading the AmericanWX forums correctly this thing may go completely north and we just may end up with cold rain.

Any info you could glean on this would be great!

Thank you!
